The course curriculum fro Biotechnology at Holkar Science College is highly relevant and comprehensive, It covers essential subjects like immunology, virology, cell and molecular biology, microbiology, bioinformatics, bioprocessing, etc. The aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is that the curriculum is regularly updated to stay aligned with the industry standards, ensuring that students are well prepared for their future careers. Overall the curriculum provides a solid foundation in both theoritical knowledge and practical skills, making students industry ready along with innovative teaching methods using smart classrooms and digital oards which make learning more interactive and interesting.

The BSc biotechnology course in Holkar Science College is a three year degree (6 semesters) and its total tution fee is 60000 (approx 20000 per year) excluding the registration amount i.e., approx 1000, apart from this there is a promotion fee of 500 and a declaration form fee of 200 every year, Apart from this, the students belonging to specific economic background can get government funded scholarships as well, (for example MMVY, Post metric, etc), where the government pays the tution fee.

The college library is a treasure trove of knowledge wth an extensive collection of books, journals and e rources as we have an e library as well. It's easily accessible to students, offering a conductive environment for study and research. The sport facilities are excellent, with provisions for both indoor and outdoor games, including basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, chess, yoga, wrestling, table tennis and many more. There are numerous student-run clubs that significantly impact student life.

Government Holkar Science College stood out to me because of its solid reputation in the field of biotechnology, renowned faculty ad well equipped labs. This was my first and last choice among various colleges in Indore. The curriculum's practical approach was another key factor and the college has better faculty, campus infrastructure industry connections and research opportunities. The process of taking admission is entirely online and is done on merit basis. One needs to secure good score in 10+2 from any board of higher education and 80+ is the safest percentage to get into the institute.

The faculty at the department of Biotechnology at Government Holkar Science College is highly qualified, knowledgeable and approachable with a fair faculty-to-student ratio. Our Head of Department is one of the best faculties that I have interacted with as he is very experienced and friendly and encourages us to do for various internships where we can polish or brush-up our skills and can get an idea about the industry as well. All other faculty members who taught my batch were knowledgeable and apart from the theoritical aspect, they gave us insights of practical laboratory work. There is semester system in Holkar Science College which is moderately challenging or difficult but the passing ratio of students is high which again reflects the remarkable efforts of the faculty.
