Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is best for the medical students. The curriculum is developed keeping in mind the practical knowledge and skills. The various exams and practicals are held throughout the year which helps the students prepare for the university professional exams.
Internships Opportunities
There is a mandatory internship of 1 year in the Doon Hospital after the completion of 8th semester. The stipend of ?17000 per month is paid for the internship. During the internship the students have to work in various departments for variable time periods.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual tution fee of the course is ?145000, the hostel costs ?6000 per annum. The annual fees of the mess is ?44000. Apart from these an amount of ?20000 was taken at the time of admission which included the development fees, registration fees, admission fees, security fees and sports fees
Campus Life
The social life is very good at the college. Every year the sports and cultural fests are held in the college in the month of October-november. There are various social work committee, fine arts committee in the college. The facilities for various sports are available in the college.
Hostel Facilities
There are two types of rooms in the hostel that is the 2 seater and the 3 seater rooms. The allotment of the rooms is based on the merit. The hostel rooms are in a very good condition and well furnished. The hostel is very affordable and costs ?6000 per year.
Admission
The major factor which encouraged me to join this college is that it is located near my house. Also this college has one of the best infrastructure in the state. The college is located in Dehradun which is a great place to be in.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is very good and approachable. The faculty is very helpful to the students. The internal exams are held in the college several times throughout the year which helps the students to prepare for the university professional exams.
