Honest review of my LBRCE

The only minus is that its not located in the city and its 40kms from the city. But its located in a greenery place of 60 acres with fresh air circulating every second. Faculty are very co-operative.

Course curriculum for my branch CSE is good. Our course covers all the basics required for the CS student like C programming in the first year, c++, java, .net in respective 2-4years. Also there are two mini projects and a major project along with 2 month internship included in the curriculum. Coming to the exam structure, there will be4 Mid exams and a 2 Semester exams per year. I would give 4 out of 5 in this.

Regarding placements, it will be 2 out of 5. Placements are not that good and you need to look ahead for some off campus placements. The placement coordinator here is not so worthy of this position and cannot be relaible on him. We had a 2 month internship periodwhere we get to know about the industry trend and real world experience of what actually we do in future. You have to do a paid internship and getting stipend internship is a tough one.

You will be having seperate branch fests and a combined college fest every year. Apart from this we have annual day with full of enjoyment. There will be many events being conducted every month and every year and if a student has a good idea regarding any event, he will be having good support in this and will be given responsibility to take the initiative.

fee during my tenture was about 70k per year including bus(15k). You can get fee waiver about 35k if you are eligible for reimbursment. You need to pay 10k towards building fund in the first year. Semester exam fee will range from 1k - 1.5k. Hostel fee will be around 60k per year.

Our college has the fee reiumbursment option where students can avail upto 35k waiver, also you can get education loan for your studies that you can easily clear after you get placed in some company of your choice.

Coming to CS there are handful of labs where you can get good handson on the technologies you learn. You have good experienced faculty to help you in that aspect. College also organise Fests, many other events every year where students can participate and showcase their extra curricular talents. We have a huge play ground for cricket and football, basket ball and volley ball court, indoor badminton court and a gymnasium.

I am presently the alumni of this college and I would like to say that my batch mates are very well selltled in some or other reputed companies and are well doing. The alumni network is great. We had the previlage to meet our seniors through out our college tenure through alumni network and got to know about their real world experience. Not only regarding the placements, but also during my period of 4 years they were very helpful regarding every aspect.

Faculty of this college are pretty experienced in their respective domains and are very co-operative with students. We have Ph.d holders and many are persuing their Ph.d in their domains. I would give a rating of 3 out of 5 in this.
