Likes

College giving importance to sports. The college has good atmosphere away from city
Faculties are qualified and experienced and teaching quality also good
College a have large library with lots of books.

Dislikes

There are limited departments only in our college.
No of faculties is limited that is another limitation
Facilities are limited. We don't have advanced facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is relevant . We have to study about business, accounting, auditing etc so it is highly job oriented. We don't have internship programs so that have to be improved. There are semester exams one in every 6 months ;more over internal exams in every months

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 1000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It is govt college so there no semester fee for us. We have to exam fee, hostel fee etc. At the time admission we have to pay a fee for the course and it is below 1000 . There so many scholarships for students. The scholarships are national scholarship portal, central sector scholarship etc ; and its amount is 10000

Campus Life

We have a good library with lots of book and journals. Faculties are qualified and teaching quality is good. Our college is well known for sports in our district. College is highly supportive for sports. There are so many clubs like entrepreneurship development club and they are highly active.

Admission

My college is my first option that i applied. My college is nearest to my home and popular in our area ; because of academic excellence. Admission process is simple and faculties nss and ncc cadets are suppotive at the time of admission. Student scored above 95% can get admission to course.

Faculty

The faculties are limited. But there is no hight shortage of faculties. The faculty students relationship is good ; their approach to was also good. There is no faculty that i have, i love personality everyone. We have semester exams and internal exams. The exams keep a standard so it not too easy to pass. 3,4 students usually fail in exams. The curriculum is relevant

i would rate it 3.5/5 it is relevent and covers most of the topic afterall add some more practical and real world could make it even better real world problems don't exist in silos coming subjects like data science or psychology with business prepare students for complex decision making

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.

Remarks:

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.

The eligibility for the course is to attain 80% above marks in the higher secondary examination. And want to have extracurricular activities like sports, arts, nss, NCC etc for admission advantage. the application process is through the single window admission process of Calicut university the application form will be obtained from the Calicut university online website, the application fee is less than 900. As a government college reservation benefits are high if you are a sports person, or low caste, those can get reserved seats for admission there are also seats that are reserved for political parties on the campus, Are you a politically recommended person you will get admission easily. The admission process is not general it's centralised to some castes, religions, political parties etc the admission process is not transparent, there are so many malpractices happening in the admission process...Read More
