Likes
- I liked the way my college is integrated into more practical applications rather than focusing on just finishing the course. There are lot of new engagements and tasks like tech talks and different practical assignments which makes learning better.
- The faculty here is very good and very knowledgeable and it is quite impressive of how well they are acquainted with students.
Dislikes
- The sanitation problem for girls is what I observed most.
- The library is not accessible to first and second year students during classes. We cannot sit in library and skip classes to study on our own.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is very much oriented to our necessity specification. As I have chosen AI and ML, the courses that we have in our curriculum are related to that field. We have various labs as well to support our curriculum.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from third year itself. Our college is higly encouragive for placements and helps us with our career planning way before. We are always persuaded to join internships by the end of fourth semester itself to earn a good chance at developing our skills and build a strong resume.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees for any CSE allied branches are 1,10000 per year. Then we have an extra 20000 rupees JNTU fees per year. Every Semester also has sem fees of 1800 rupees. I don't belong to the reservation beneficiary category hence no scholarship for me.
Campus Life
We have a lot of college events such as Freshers for first and second year every year mandatorily and then we have few workshops in the coming months of the odd semester. Even semester usually has more events, we have Traditional day, DJ night and Annual Day. We have a few technical events such as consortium and othe fests conducted by the college clubs. There are various clubs like singing, dancing, technical, sports, NSS and all of them are under Student council Club.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel facility provided by the college is however poor compared to oyher colleges. I wouldn't recommend staying there as the meal quality is really poor and assistance from the staff is very bad. I had a horrible experience in my first year dtaying in the hostel accommodation provided by the college.
Admission
Actually the college I am in right now was the college i always wanted to get in and it was the college I always wanted to join as it has amazing curriculum benefits and good placement reviews. The cutoff for this college was 18,000 rank in EAMCET for my course.
Faculty
The faculty members are experienced and are very compatible with students. I like the way they interact and help us learn things in a different and flexible way. We have two mid examinations for every semester and an Internal and External Lab ecmination at the end if semester and then we have external semester examinations (theory). We have two semesters for every year.
