Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum maked us an MBBS doctor. The curriculum is well set covering all major topics and combined with 1 year house surgency available in this hospital, students become well equipped to work independantly as a doctor.
Internships Opportunities
There is a one year house surgency i.e internship to be done after 4 and a hailf years of study. The stipend is government pais and 27,000 per month. Within this year they are also posted in the bearby PHC and also for rural practice.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly tuition fee is 23,500 ruoees because it has onky government seats which are obtained throigh NEET medical entrance. There is bo other hidden fees. SC and ST reservation seats are scholarship seats.Their fees including hostel and mess fees is paid by the government. Economically backward students can also avail other scholarships.
Campus Life
There is a well equipped library, which can also be used as study halls. All major festivals are celebrated in a grand fashion and the college management is supportive of it. There is well equipped courts for sports like baketball, football, volleyball and nets to practice cricket. There is also an indoor badminton court, gym, dance room and band room.
Hostel Facilities
There is government hostel facility. There is as a student run mess which ensures good quality meals which are also cery affordable..Many local PGs and rented rooms are available near the college campus but most students opt for in campus hostel facilities.
Admission
This college was alloted to me based on my NEET entrance exam rank.Other college i applied for were also Government colleges from my state as they have the lowest free structure and moat real world exposure to patients
Faculty
The faculty consisits of Government doctors pracrising in the medical college hospital. There are 4 years..and centralized university exam system involving whole of Kerala. The year end exams are conducted by Kerala Unicersity of Health Sciences. Faculty are very friendly and cooperative..they help you with your studies even after normal working hours.
