Review about my college

Lets start with positive if you are a sensire , well good in studies then Gnit is a platform where you can score very high marks as compared to other college in kolkata. Negative remarks are that placement is worst no core company comes only some it company are there.

Exam structure is good , if you are a good student then definitely you will score good in the semester exams . There are 2 internals conducted by the college and some assignments , after that if you give all of that you will definitely score good .

No never college will never provide any internship to the students , but hope for the best because now it will be an autonomous institution and it give certain one day or two days paid internship . No stripened is given to the students . Overall experience is moderate not good not bad it's average . Placement is also moderate because 50 % student not get any job. Except Computer science engineering .

There are certain events celebrated in the college , though some of are paid sone are non paid . Really I'll have lots of good experience with my college. Events are : Technical fest Fresher's welcome party Annual fest

It's feasible for some people some says it's expensive , but as compared to other colleges i think it's little bit expensive semester fess is 47,000 per sem . But the college infrastructure in kolkata is best as compared to others.

Yes college will give certain scholarship in terms of academic results.if you are a jis university topper you will get one foreign trip and get a prize money . Loans are given by the college but scholarship are not there , there are scholarship given by the state government .

Really in terms of that I'll give 10 on 10 . Extra curricular activities are there in all days , whether it is cricket tournament or football tournament . sports meet also celebrated in a year . Labs are quite good .

I'll rate 0 in hostel facilities , hostel is just as cage . Girls hostel is quite good and well designed and will have a good infrastructure , boys hostel is outside the campus area . Food is moderate , water facilities is good , security purposes excellent .

Yes alumni networks are really good , our senior are very good they give certain good tips to grab the company placements . Some seniors are in very high posts they also recruit some students from our college.

I think faculty are good compared to other private colleges but not good as gov. College facultys . But definitely they are hardworking and they give lots of assignments , to brush up the knowledge. My dept is electrical engineering and I am quite happy with my dept.
