I think this is the best collage of west bengal.. I'm proud that i got a opportunity to read here... I'm blessed... This is the best collage education wise as well as cultural wise... I think people should come and visit the infrastructure for sure

Course Curriculum Overview

They are very nice... Well settled... Our teachers are very helpful.. We celebrate each festival together mostly... We have our special "Dol utsab" and "poush meal" which is reall very beautiful to watch and celebrate .. And the exam structure is well settled too..

Placement Experience

The placements are good nd affordable places nd the job opportunity is real... Collage does provide internship to the good students... They always help us in everything... They pay us for typing too... They give us many small jobs for our pocket money even

College Events

we celebrate holi lavishly here also the makarshankranti is a big festival here... As I'm reading buddhism we celebrate the buddha purnima by helping the poor people.. We have a outing once a year too

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee is quite cheap as it is a gov collage ... I paid 6000 for the fist year then i was charged 5000 onwards... The fees is taken annually... There's no hidden charges than that .. The let us use library and cafe too

we have everything in very nice condition... The labs have ac nd we have a swimming pool ... Dance and singing sections are also there ... There's a gym in our collage which is very nice... We play every kind of sports here as the place is quite big

the are the reasons why staying away from home doesn't seems bad...they help us in everything .. They teach us they help us from our heartbreaks they play with us... They acts like our own brothers... I wasn't very sure about staying away from home for the first time but collage life seems fun as we have them..

Faculty

The faculty is quite nice... They help us as much as they can .. They collage is clean from politics and other anti social things as it should be.. The teachers are sweethearts..they care us like their own son nd daughter

Placement Experience:

Most of the placements that took place at least for the literature departments ended up with people joining educational institutes and NGOs. Very few joined corporate enterprises like Accenture. But it does provide almost a 5 LPA, if well placed. It is academically rigorous, therefore academics are weighed more than industry.

Students are generally elegible for placement offers from 3rd year of UG program and 2nd Year of PG program. I-PAC, ecociate, ICICI Bank are our paste recruiters with an average package of nearly ?3.5 lakh annually. I-PAC made the highest package offer of ?400000 annually. Placement percentage are relatively low of nearly 30% as more are oriented academically.

The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

A Peaceful, Culturally Rich Journey at Visva-Bharati University

I chose VBU over other colleges because of its peaceful campus, strong language programmes and unique academic environment inspired by Rabindranath tagore's vision. I had also applied to JNU and EFLU, but after careful comparison I found VBU more aligned with my learning style and personal goals. The UNIVERSITY offers a more focused and supportive setting with smaller class sizes and close student-teacher interaction which is ideal for studying a language like Japanese. The admission process was conducted through the CUET( COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST) . The eligibilty was 10+2 with a valid CUET score. For Japanese VBU considers marks of either ENGLISH or GENERAL TEST whichever you get higher marks in.
