- In the first year the college is pretty much adamant on completion of 75% attendance but moving forward in senior years there are relaxtions.
- The college times are pretty hectic for few departments.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are followed according to the syllabus of AKTU. The courses are changed as per the requirements of the time. The level of the courses are moderate and can be understood once the student is focused at understanding the topic.
Internships Opportunities
Students after third year i.e. after 6th semester are eligible for sitting in any Internships offered in college by the companies. We also make projects which is mandatory in every department from 2nd year to 4 year. In 2nd and 3rd year we call it mini project and in final year it becomes the major project.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible to seat for the placement after the completion of 6th semester. The college is active when it comes to placement. Companies like coding ninja has visited recently and had actively hired students. This years placement has been decent compared to past few years after covid. I am planning to do an internship after the completion of my 6th semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees structure is pretty sorted. At the time of admission you have to pay tuition fees i.e.109603 along with admission form fees and other fees i.e 1000rs and 5000rs respectively. After the completion of 1st year you only have to pay tuition fee i.e. 109603. Tuition fees is same across all the branches and for all the students. Scholarships are also available for students who are eligible for it.
Campus Life
The infrastructure as per the fees is nice. The college is active towards it's annual fest and fresher's. We also have active club Activities and departmental fest. Recent the college has also organised Zonal sports event. So it this department the college is 10/10
Admission
I have checked the reviews from various sources including college dunia. Galgotias balances both the academics and extra Activities pretty well, that's what I personally wanted from a college. The college is pretty affordable compared to other private colleges. The results and packages here are also decent .
Faculty
There are 2 sessional and 1 PUT in between a semester. Faculty exposure depends on how any student interacts with the faculty. There are teachers who are understanding and there are teachers who are bit hard to please.
