Course Curriculum Overview

5

As i had done diploma in mechanical engineering so thats the reason i opted for btech in mechanical to enhance my knowledge and skills as in reva if you sre choosing mechanical you will get good hands on knowledge there will be many workshop activities where compaines like toyota and othes will be coming to college to provide you more extra knowledge and also we will be having many labs which will give you more knowledge about what is being taught theoretically so overall every subject is relevant as well as important where you will be industry ready or job ready for the future the examination timing for the internal examination will be 1 and half hour and for the semester end exam it will be of 3 hours

Internships Opportunities

4

Its up to you in which company you want to do your internship in and you have to get the approval letter from the compay and the college will provide you that and also many compaines will also come to the college to provide you the opportunity for doing intership in their compay some will be just experience based and some will be stipend where you will get the chance to work on projects and if you are doing good in that field you might also get the fofer letter from the company

Placement Experience

4

The placements are good compared to most of the engineering colleges as therre will be many companies visting the last year placement percentage was 90% as there will N number of opportunities available may it job or internship in compaines many of them will approaching the college to hiree students but its in your hand how you make use of it many big companies like toyota accenture tcs and also compaines from japan and all has visited this year and many of my friends have already been placed the highest package offered this year is 24LPA and the average is 3LPA This year it is around 80-90% of placement rate my plans after getting the degree is to get into some kind of course or internship which will help me avail better offer

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined through diploma cet entrance exam due to which my fees was 105000 yearly and apart from this we had to pay 3,500 for every semester end examination fees and my bachmates who entered through management category had to pay 1,50,000 and it varies for every branch and talking about scholarships yeah we have opportunities like i had applied for it as i am from general category each year we get 22,000 and categories like sc st get around 70,000 which we have to apply through ssp portal which comea under government the criteria for this is that your monthly income should be less than 1,00,000

Campus Life

5

The overall campus life is very good and its really nice and also the atmosphere is very clean and hygienic its filled with full of trees complete greenery Amd there will be N number of events organised by different different branch clubs etc and everyone from the university will be having the opportunity to join the event as it will be open for all not just fancy events but also many technical programs will be hosted by different branch also manu companies will be hosting different technical activities also if you are good in sports many opportunities will be given to you to participate in interschool sports and many others there will alot of events and activities in this college maybit be dance sports or any other technical activities

Admission

I had applied for acharya institute of technology and new horizon college of engineering and reva university was my third choice as reva is very far from the main city and the other 2 universities are nearer to main city i wanted to opt for them if you have to travel to the main city from reva it will cost you around 400rs and will also take more than 1 hour I faced rejection as i had less score in dcet and did not match the cut off for the other two colleges The admissions is simple you have just book your seat there will be a form to fill up and the first payment should be made there itself so that your seat is confirmed but this is for management for people entering through entrance exam like dcet you have to pay the first instalment to the government and the rest to the university amd fill the form and submit it the admission process is simple as there will be many people in the admissions office to help you out

Faculty

5

As i am from mechanical engineering so far so good I haven't faced any problems with any of the faculties as all will treat you well until and unless you get on their bad side and they are always available whenever you need them you just have to go the staff room and they will be easily accessible one of my favourite faculty is arun kumar who is my mentor which will assigned to you during the beginning of your first semester each student will be alloted a mentor who plays and important role until your degree is completed where you can not only share your professional life with them but also your personal things in which he has helped me alot both to develop my career as well as my personal life in reva exams are very easy you can clear your degree without any backlogs in my batch hardly out of 64 only 2 might have backlogs rest all of them have aced the examination as you have to score well in your internal examination which will be of 30 marks and which will include 1 and half unit which will be very easy and all the subjects will be relevant which will include both the core subjects as well as other subjects both theory and practical knowledge will be provided with good teaching
