- Faculty is good according to the way they teach. They are friendly.
- Attendance is strict. It must be 75% otherwise you will be detained.
- Many programs like fresher's party, dandiya , hackathons are organized.
Dislikes
- There is only one Computer programming lab a week.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is somewhat outdated we are supposed to study Physics, EVS,IC,Chemistry in first year which i think that needs to be improved infact we should have more computer based subjects for computer science and also more practical classes should be there.
Internships Opportunities
There is IAESTE group which provide international internships offers to the students. You can apply there if you want to its great to be a part of an internships and earn while studying. You have to pass an interview round.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from 7 th semester. Microsoft,Adobe,accenture,TCS,AU bank are some companies that visit for placements. JECRC university students recieved 2008 offers from Microsoft,Flipkart,Nestle etc. Highest package of 52 LPA offered by microsoft alongside average package of 6.8 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearwise fees for Btech CSE CORE is ?2,20,000. There are many scholarships based on your class XII and JEE MAINS score For board marks: 1. 15% scholarship on tuition fees if your percentage is between 75% to 84.99%. 2. 20% scholarship on tution fees if your percentage is 85% and above. For JEE score: 1. If your JEE MAINS score is in between 85 to 90 percentile(for 2024) then 15% scholarship on tution fees. 2. If your JEE MAINS 2024 score more than 90 then 20% scholarship on tution fees.
Campus Life
The campus life is good. There are many events like JU Rythym is the main event which everyone waits for as JECRC calls many celebrities like KING, Kartik Aryan etc. There are many clubs like JU EAGLES- sports JU QDC- Dance Devcrest - Coding and many more Also there are some societies like Makerspace for making new innovative things Aashayien for social work .
Hostel Facilities
My room is AC one and i pay ?1,60,000 yearly. The rooms are made like 3 BHK flats . There is a common area and 3 rooms all single occupancy one. Mess food is average not that good. You have to fill hostel form and warden sir will allot it to you .
Admission
I didn,t applied to other colleges because i wanted to do btech from jaipur itself as i am a resident of jaipur. Your CBSE class XII score must be more than 60% and you'll get admission easily. Just pay the fees and you are good to go.
Faculty
Faculties are best. They all are friendly and help the students every way possible. The faculty which i liked the most is my Communication Skills teacher Ms. Avantika Yadav as she is very frank and friendly with me. Exams are moderate difficult. If you want to score good then learn the assignments that would be more than enough.
