Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya - Should you Consider?

The Course Curriculum is not very Relevant in terms of current trends and Rise of Artificial Intelligence. But there are new course been introduced in our college which are focusing on the same. For Eg. A course for German language is been introduced in our college by Signing MOU with Foreign Universities.

The placement percentage is around 60-70% with an average package of 6 LPA. Eligibility criteria for Placement before the Placement Rounds a Student should have Overall 7+ CGPA in 4th Year to be eligible for applying for the placement after that the Aptitude Round, Group Discussion and Interview are been Done. Students who don't Get placed through the College Go for Off Campus Placement or they decide to Go for Further Studies like M. Tech or MBA.

The Overall Yearly fees is around ?10,000 The Fees for 1 semester is Approx ~ ?1500 + Exam fees (around ?2000 - ?3000) depends on number of subjects. Therefore the total fees for a Year is approx ~ ?10,000.

As a specified Earlier Campus life at the college is not really interesting—it feels rather dull in terms of events, and nothing much is being done for entertainment. There just isn't much happening, and that can get a bit dull without much to get engaged in. (The language barrier is also one of the major Reason for the same)

The Hostel Is Very Good in terms of Living and Affordability, the only Con of Hostel is The Mess Food which is not very Good & the Only Reason why Students in 2nd - 3rd year tend to leave hostel and Go for P.G . Other than that there is no such thing to complain about the Hostel.

One of the Main reasons for choosing this college was the infrastructure was very Good compared to all other government Colleges. And It's Fees is also similar to Government College Fees. The Education and Academics part of the college is also Good. I opt for this college becoz my department (i.e electrical engineering is a GIA (grant in Aid) department means it have a negligible fees.

The Faculty member's are Quite helpful and Supportive. Taking about the exam structure there are 3 exams per semester, 2 mid sem exam and one End sem Exam, which means Total 6 Exams in a Year. Marking scheme and Passing marks Depends on the subject, Mid sem exam and Conducted by college itself and for end sem exam The correction of answer sheet are done by Gujarat Technological University (GTU). The Level of Hardness of these exams is Medium, Not so hard and One student can easily pass by studying one week before exam.
