Likes

Wide range of opportunities in every field . Sports services are available 24 hrs , you can go and play and use equipments freely
Campus is huge covering over 685 acres with big classes.
Teaching faculties are superb. Along with the professor , assistant professor and PhD scholar take care of the desired subject

Dislikes

Although haven't faced any ragging encounters for now but there are restrictions on 1st year students to avoid ragging cases

Course Curriculum Overview

1st year course is designed in order to let an engineering student go through basics of all fields. We are biology, engineering graphics basics too which can help further in our department specific studies

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 153000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College allows students to avail internships from the 3rd year. Internships include both industrial training and working for big companies. Companies from all sector visit the campus and you can apply to your desired one according to your skills

Fees and Financial Aid

1st semester fees : 63000 Annual mess fess : 27000 Hostel mess ( excluding mess ) per semester: 17000 No scholarships availed as of now. Although the college has asked to fill a scholarship form previously but no outputs as of now

Campus Life

Campus is huge covering over 685 acres. It's a lush green campus with all daily amenities available inside only . There are clubs like pixel, evolve , roobaro , istse , vision etc. Sports is highly encouraged at MANIT

Hostel Facilities

Hostel space is nice. Mess food isn't of that high quality but can't question it much as it is perfectly value for money . We are provided with lan and wifi 24 hrs , speed ranges from 100 Mbps to 400 Mbps.

Hostel Fee: INR 61000 per year

Admission

According to my jee mains rank, I got confirmed IIIT jabalpur in first round. I wanted the nit tag therefore skipped the above clg and moved to round 2 . Here got NIT Bhopal. Reason I preferred it over other NITs, is due to its E-Cell which is one of the largest in Asia. Admission process includes qualifying jee mains exam. You need to have minimum of 65k rank to get into NIT Bhopal. Admission process was super smooth , got it done in hours during physical reporting

Faculty

1st year students are divided in sections. Section strength is 110 and a single professor for a subject Best faculty for now is our maths teacher , prof. Kuldeep singh yadav All of the faculties are highly knowledgeable in their fields , none of them I have disliked For a semester, there are mini test , mid semester exams and end semester exams. All three sum up for the sgpa

Welcome to NIT Bhopal

Placement Experience:

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.
