Course Curriculum Overview

CSE is the course i have choosen. As i have further study plans i wanted to go with the main branch of computer science and then specialization. Exams are easy when you study. If we pay attention in class then there is no need of tension its exams

Internships Opportunities

Companies details are not known but data analyst roles are taken by most of my seniors in he internship placements this year. They all are doing their internships with stipend, also participated in technical fests.

Placement Experience

Most of the students are getting paid for their internships. Average package is 900000 and highest package varies very year. in 3rd year most of the internship placements are held. My plan is to complete my M.Tech after B.Tech

Fees and Financial Aid

there are 4 slabs in the curriculum. slab1 - tuition fee 100000 slab2 - tuition fee 200000 slab3 - tuition fee 275000 slab4(management) - 400000 hostel fee is same for everyone i.e.., 100000(including hostel fee and mess fee) you can come through jee mains or Amrita entrance examination

Campus Life

Course related books are always available in the library. Library is vast so many people can acess it at any time in the day. Internal hackathons will be held as the part of techincal fests. sports are always encouraged in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

Amrita is a pure-veg College, so the hostel provides only veg meals, there are different varieties in veg though, so its like home food being served in hostel and coming to rooms, the managemnt maintains it neat and clean.

Admission

I got seat in KITS(kakatiya institute of technology in science),Telangana IT branch. I got seat in amrita till then, CSE soo i wanted CSE i got it in Amrita which is well known university so i jined here.

Faculty

in a class there will be 60 students and 1 professor. Students can interact with the faculty at any time, mostly they will be available. Fair correction is done in examinations no favoratism is encouraged.

Interview Experience

When its comes to admission there is no interview for it. Admissions are taken through AEEE(Amrita entrance exam) and JEE mains percentile. As per year cut off ranks branch vaccancies are shown to the students who are ready to apply.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
