Remarks
Our College is One of the best college in Burdwan University. And in my opinion it is the best degree college in hooghly district. Our College also provide Master Degree Fecility after the completion of the graduation. Which is very rare. Our College has a great history. So many great persons graduated from the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am doing the course of the Bachelor Degree in Physics Honours. And there is 3 exams. Each one after the end of every season. But to appear the final exam of the university, students need to pass the test exam conducted by the college.
Placement Experience
There is no placement or job opportunities like engineering college because it is a degree college in science, arts, commers. But there is also another course named LLB in Law. It is unknown to me about the law section of the college. Because I am a student of Science. And law department is in different building. Our College provides only some less in college fees for the poor students. There is no internship.
College Events
There are so many events celebrated in our college. And there is also so many events conducted by different department. But in some events all of the students meet together namely, 12th January On Vivekananda's Birthday, 23rd January Netaji Subhash Birthday, 26th January Republic Day, Swaraswati Puja, College fest, Fresher's Welcome Program, Independence Day Celebration, Teacher's Day Celebration, etc etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fess structure is different for different subject. But the fees are very less compared to another college because it is a Government College. The fees is about two times less than other colleges under the university.
Fees and Financial Aid
According to my knowledge, our college don't provide any scholarships. But If students apply for various scholarships of the state government or central government or any other walfare society, the college helps the students by giving the documents required from the college. I had applied for the INSPIRE Scholarship and the college helped me.
Campus Life
Our College provides So many extracurricular activities besides of education. There are National Cadet Course, Sports Fecility in our College. There are So many Laboratory For the students which is very rich and full of materials.
Hostel Facilities
I have not opted for hostel. But according to my friends who opted, the hostel is good for living,. Food is good. And the capacity is large. To get the hostel fecility, the distance of the house of the students from the college matters.
Alumni/Alumna
The Teacher, Laboratory Assistant, Non teaching Stuff, Librarian are very good. Their behavior to the students are good. The Senior Students in the College meet their junior in a day to know them and to be known to the junior. And the Senior Students helps the junior very much.
Faculty
The College is Very Good. The Laboratory in the college is very good. There is also enough teacher and laboratory assistant. And points to be noted that it is a Government College. The College Campus is also healthy for students. And the campus is much bigger.
