Likes

The campus and teaching infrastructure are good but can be improvised over time
Boys to girls ratio is not too low or high as it is maintained in balance
faculties are very relevant and reliable

Dislikes

exam related timing issues are a bit harsh sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my passion towards the teaching field and i found myself better at english than other languages or subjects and the frequency of exams with their difficulty level should be modified

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 20000 of tution fees year wise, exam fees and other caution fees are and there are no other charges I've paid like registration fees because i was rolled in merit and not in management quota. There is scholarships available for students on different bases like sports, financial status etc.

Campus Life

my campus life so far is very good because of the company I've got from my college and the sports and co curricular activities held there are good too. there are some student run social clubs like nss and sip

Admission

I chose this college as a go to. I wasn't rejected from any other colleges because I didn't apply for any and insisted on only getting rolled in to my current college for my higher studies. It's near my home too

Faculty

faculty to student ratio is perfect and my favourite teacher is jaseena mam because of her teaching style and the conversation skills she possesses there are total six semester exams along with internals which i find not too difficult nor easy

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students

Remarks:

I have choosed this college so that I can reach my hometown with in an hour as my parents have only one child and if they need any presence of mine as soon as possible, then I can run towards them asap I can do. I have received multiple admission calls from various universities and autonomous colleges, I have rejected them as my prefer was I told the early.
