Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is nice, though changing feom next year. We have 3 parts and 3 university exams in MBBS. 1st MBBS of 1 year, 2nd of 1.5 years, and 3rd being of 2 years, followed by 1 year of internship. 19 Subjects are nicely divided into 3 years.
Placement Experience
Placements are made. Yes, there is provision of internship. The college is with VS general hospital where students get placement. Stipend is good above 20,000. Overall experience with such professional doctors is good.
College Events
The fresher's party is no exception. The amcon : is a medical conference, that is 3 day event. Amcon has workshops related to different fields. Model sansad, model WHO. Keynote lectures from doctors. Panel discussion, from dictors entered in different fields. Icebreaker- fun games music dance. The annual fest adrenaline: 7 day event. Has medicos from all over gujarat. Biggest fest of all medical colleges of Gujarat. Has fun activities, concerts, ted talks, open mics, games, quizes, leagues, tournaments etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees for MBBS is normal according to a self finance college. Annually 544000 for general quota For management quota it is 1200000. For NRI quota it is 2000000. In government colleges it is 18000 around.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are there for poor people having freeship cards. The people with annual income less than 500000 are given 50% less on the fees. Education loan from bank can be taken at 11% rate. There are other trusts in society which gives education loan.
Campus Life
There is gymkhana that has table tennis. Every year there is cricket league, adrenaline premier league. The labs are having nice infrastructure and good devices to work upon. There are 3 reading places with AC.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very good, river facing on the sabarmati riverfront,ahmedabad. The hostel has canteen, elevator, common bathroom. One room is occupied by 2 students. Room has study tables , cupboards, beds. The hostel is in same campus.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the seniors are much helpfull, they tell about every academic problem's solutions. The alumni trust also funds our aprons. The alumni include big doctora in Ahmedabad and outside. There are many successful doctors in alumni.
Faculty
The faculty are veey nice , caring, helpfull. Some are extraordinarily good.They stay from 9AM to 4 PM, meanwhile they have lectures, they teach on projectors, ppts. They have good materials. They solve all our doubts.
