Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum:Our curriculum is according to the latest CBME pattern provided by Medical council of India. University:Our university papper is conducted by muhs nashik as same as any other government medical College. Clinical postings: we have strict clinical postings from 2nd yr of our course for 2 hr on the working days. Patients are descent is number. Frequency of exams: we have 3 internals including prilims each yr for 1st and 2nd yr and then we have only 2 internals for 3rd minor and major(i.e. 4th yr).

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship is provided as the part of the course for one yr. The stipend for the internship is around 5k and then you are bonded to the government for 1 yr Medical rural bond which provides you a good salary of around 75k.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees- 8,40,000/yr(open) 4,20,000/yr(EWS) Caution fees- 1,00,000 Development fees- 78,000 Hostel fees- 1,00,000 Mess fees- 50,000 Hostel & mess are compulsory. Punjabrao scholarship is available for for EWS category.

Campus Life

5

Their are various events in our college some of them are: crescendo, ganpati festival, shiv jayanti. Crescendo is the biggest event in the whole yr. Their are almost all the books in the library which are needed in the library. We have smart board in each and every classroom provided with AC. Their are football clubs, cricket clubs, kabbadi clubs, volleyball clubs and also music clubs sponsored by the students and college.

Hostel Facilities

4

The meal quality is good but it is not soo tasty. We have 3 main meals and one tea with biscuits and on Sundays we have sweet feast. Their is no such registration for hostel and mess as it is compulsory for our college. You can rent the room but the Islampur which is the nearest town is 4 km away from the campus so then you have travel daily.

Admission

I preferred this college because of the lesser fees it offered and it was near to my house. It's medicine and ortho department is fabulous because of which I took this college. I applied for vvpf medical college but I didn't got it because I got 1 mark less. That is really my regret. We can only apply this college by giving neet the cutoff carries from 500 to 600 according to the neet AIR of 70000.

Faculty

4

Faculty to students ratio is descent. We can approach the teacher after the class for the doubts. I personally liked the Anatomy faculty of our college,The faculty is somewhat strict but yeah they are taking efforts to develop us from all aspects of our life. The FMT faculty is not good, as the students to faculty ratio is very less. Their are 2 internal exam in the first and second yr and only one internal in the third yr excluding the prelims at each yr.

Night Life

3

Their is really no nightlife. But gym is good, we have almost all equipments. We have 2 girls and 2 boys hostel of 7 floors each with provided lift. The rooms are seperate and provided with attached washroom. Their 3-4 students in each room.

I choose the course because I wanted to become doctors from most prestigious college of India. I didn't get seat in AIIMS Delhi so then I choose this college as it is near my home town. The students faculty ratio is 70:12. All the faculty are passed out doctors so they are highly qualified and they teach us in such a way that no need to ask for any doubts. The university conducts exams after every 3 months and we all have to work very hard to pass the exams.
