Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is 5000 per semester, total fee for mbbs is around 40000. Some scholarship for west Bengal students. Rest money is needed for food, clothes, and college functions. Mbbs fees is one of the lowest in West Bengal.
Campus Life
Infrastructure of Burdwan Medical College is far better than rest of the medical colleges college has All the departments and they are well functioning and state of the art. Almost all kinds of book required for MBBS is provided in the library. The classrooms are up to date with air conditioning and projectors with access to internet facilities.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are clean and new and generally shared by two students air conditioning and room heaters are not allowed. The quality of meals are nice. You can acquire hostel at time of admission. If interested you can always rent a PG a room in nearby areas like babarbagh Road
Admission
I applied for rest of the colleges of West Bengal for MBBS but in counselling I got Burdwan Medical College what college you will get solid depends on what marks you have in NEET according to marks you get respect to colleges if you want different college are a better one you need to score more in neet.
Faculty
All of faculties are doctors and specialist of their own feild . They are very approachable and friendly. Each year has 2 semester exams and 1 proff exams in the end. Around 10 students out of 200 fail to clear the exams which can be cleared in supply exams.
Night Life
The night life is not very active in Burdwan medical colleges you can always drink tea at various then shops. Kya Maine local cafeteria which are famous Hangouts spaces. This college doesn't have a gym if you are interested you need to get a subscription outside of the college. Burdwan Medical College is very safe at night and women safety as of utmost priority for college administration.
