Remarks

This collage have many positive remarks . But negative marks is to small. This collage have most positive side is there low fees than the others collages under Calcutta University. And the negative issue is attendance.

If i complete this course with good marks my future is so bright.after this course i will be also admitted in M.Com from Calcutta University and then i going for job or i created my own business. And then i improve my business with my talents.

Placement Experience

This collage is under government collage so government selected the jobs by many exams but collage also selected many teachers as parralal . I have no experience about the internship and stripped. But this collage gives many jobs for all.

College Events

This collage has arranged many events during the year. 1. Collage welcome ceremony for fresher's 2.annual function for All. 3.annual sports 4. Bosonto utsob. And arrenged many other's program's by the collage union.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is to low . Only a student pay rs.2400 per year .no others charges are applicable and this collage required money of one month fees is only rs.75 per month .but this collage fees are enough for an middile class family .

Fees and Financial Aid

My collage dont offered any scholarships or loan facility .but my collage give permission for scholarship student by the government of west bengal .but there are no facilities about the loans.but i have no perfect proof.

Campus Life

The other facilities of this collage are really so good . There are more extra curriculer activities like labs soprts and other function etc. I have one year experience about the collage sports . I joined those moments.

Hostel Facilities

Thos collage have no facility about hostel but if you want to live near the collage for that you gire a room for living and then you have no problem to living in the kolkata city .if you are non bangali so you dont have problem.

This collage is really too good This collage have many facilities This collage fees are to low This collage union are too good. They never forced you for joining politics . And never demand money from students.

This collage was very populer collage under Calcutta University.This collage selection is so hard but i selected. Its a government collage.This collage admission fee is too low price.its a perfect for a middile class bous and girls.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

A college with all the facilities.

I applied in 5 colleges;Seth Anandram Jaipuriya, Goenka, Surendranath, Lalbaba and City college in which I am currently studying. I got confirmation from lalbaba and City college. Those nice college days

I had applied in many colleges and also got selected there but I chose city college for it's friendly atmosphere and supportive seniors. In order to eligible for pass course you need minimum 60percent for not put yourself in waiting list. If you score below this then there are chances that your name will be not in the first list. There are 2 or sometimes 3 lists are out for admission list. If you want to go with honours then you need 85 to 90 percent because seats are very limited...Read More
