Campus and library are the best and faculties are also good
There is no compulsory 75% attendance as compare to other colleges in CU
Professor are friendly in nature and regular events are conducted in college campus

Dislikes

Evening session students and the aura in canteen
There is no dress code for both boys and girls
A little bit at higher price as compare to other colleges in CU

Course Curriculum Overview

•As I'm a CA aspirant I'm focused towards my CA exam and bcom is my secondary choice. In this college there is no pressure for attendance which influenced me to take admission in this college •Practical exposures and internship are provided for the college. Which provides practical knowledge of industry and sector which help in the real world •exams and test are conducted between gap of 2-3 months. And internal exams are difficult to Crack

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Internships Opportunities

•Companies like TCS and wipro offers internships. And stipend is offered upto 10-12k •summer internship are offered from the company. Certificate is given and sometimes during internships company offers for placement

Fees and Financial Aid

College campus is good and the faculties are excellent but the environment in evening session is not good..... it is recommended to opt for morning College.....75% attendance is not mandatory... so student opting for any professional degree like CA,CS,CMA,etc can go for this College

Campus Life

•Umang is the annual fest which is celebrated every year in the month of December in college campus. But many small events and seminar are conducted related to studies and research. •all types of books are available in the library off all courses. Library is fully air conditioner. Books can be issue from the library for 5 days and then again it can re issue •sports and extra curriculum activities are excellent in this college. Regular inter-intra college tournament are conducted in every sports. •no student don't run any clubs or social groups

Admission

•I applied for st.xaviers autonomous college. But I didn't get admission because of their high cut off. I chose bhawanipur education society college over other colleges due to attendance criteria as in other colleges attendance are compulsory and in bhawanipur education society college attendance is not compulsory. •I got rejection from st.xaviers autonomous college because there admission cut off were high. My 12th percentage was 83.4% and the cut off st.xaviers autonomous college was 94% •There is direct entry in this college. No exams are conducted for admission

Faculty

•50-60 students are there in each section of each course •Meenakshi ma'am is the best faculty of this college. She teaches economics •jain sir of English subject is not good. His behavior towards students are not good •In every semster they conduct 1 internal exam and 1 internal test and 1 main exam of CU. 20% of students fail in internal exam. This exams and test are relevant to Course curriculum

Night Life

•cafeteria of our college is famous for couples dating and sports arena is good which includes gym and many other sports like mma. •there is no hostel in our college •locality of our college is safe. It is located in main town. Elgin road and it is safe for women even at late night

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
