Review on my college

Though the college provides lots of facilities to the students it also has certain negative points to be considered. As the college is one of the best in the state there is a lot of competition in the admission. Since the college is run by Jesuit community the college gives atmost priority to the Roman catholics.

I choose b.com , the course period is three years. There are six semesters and the candidate must pass all the semesters. The required mark to pass is 40 . Each semester two internal exams will be conducted for 50 marks each, in that also the candidate is required to get 40 marks.

The college helps the students to get a job through the placement cell. More than two hundred companies visit our college for hiring fresh candidates.we have a mandatory internship program in 3rd year, which we have to find a company on our own and work for a month. The stipend depends on the company we do our internship.

The college conducts various events. The most significant one is ovations . It is a cultural event which is conducted for two days within the college , no students from other colleges are permitted for this event.

The fee structure for shift 1 is very much feasible but the fee structure of shift 2 is comparatively high, and the fee structure depends on the course selected and the fee structure vary according to the course.

The college provides scholarship for the backward community people, most backward community people and also for the scheduled caste students. The students who need the scholarship must apply for scholarship in the college and scholarship is awarded according to the financial background of the students.

The college provides lots of extra curricular opportunities. The college provides with the best class lab facilities. There are separate labs for every departments. The college also encourages the students in sports . There are separate playgrounds for cricket, football, basketball etc.

The college is very much concerned about the alumnus of the college. The maintain a record of the passed out students of the college. The also invite successful alumni for guest lectures once in a while. Every year the conduct a alumni meet to reunite the passed out students.

The faculties in my college are really experienced , the have a thorough knowledge on the subject . As they all are experienced they know what to teach and how to teach and make the students understand better.
