NITPY A place you hate but eventually love

The course is a mix of both reaserch and practical subjects with necessary lans at all semsters for practical and reaserch oriented with the new nep its more diverse and focused on skills rather than the theoy so that is a good aspect

Campus placemats are good companies visit campua at ever year for placement internship opportunities are less but placements both service and product based viait so if you have necessary skillss you will wgt placed the avergae salary is 12.6 lakhs and highest is 18 lakhs for samsing

We pay fees for every semster for academics both even amd odd semster its 62,500 each and for hoatel even semster is short and costs 26,000 and odd smester costs 35,000 general with no reservation has to pay full with ews you get waived upto 25000 and sc st fees is 5000

We have 2 fests gyanith the technical fest and leicel the cultural fest both are reasonable fest don't except much clubs are still growing so proper club activites are not there sports wise also same you have indoor shuttle and basketball court thats it

Hostel are good forst years get an ac room 4 people next three years no ac with 3 per room food ia still managable it gets repetitive after a time. PG facilities outside are not good prefer hostel if you can

The reason i choose this college is due to its beand value of NIT the curriculum is good and professors are alos senior level i got other collegs like vit cse and srm cse but i didnt believe private colleges and waiting for nit luckily got nit Puducherry

The ratio for students to professor is 4:1 you get a professor available at all times and you can meet them at any time they are knowledgeable and hwlps if you need exam e exams will be there easy to pass if you study a night before exam

There is no night life in the campus you are not allowed to roam out the hostel after 11.pm no canteen ot cafeteria in the hostel either so keep your food for night if you stay late but tou can play volleyball inside the hostel ground till 12 1 am
