Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is very relevant to day to day life. They teach us programming languages which is used in programming various types of programs. And other subjects like maths and communication skills which is necessary for a student to gain knowledge. Maths can helps us prepare formulas for programming And communication skills helps us prepare for conversation in an interview.
Internships Opportunities
I am currently in first semester and I don't know that much detail about internship and other stuff . But I heard from someone that some big companies like flipkart and Amazon offer internships here ...
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements in 3rd or 4th semester. Their are several companies visiting our campus for placements some of them are heml, Amazon, flipkart, etc. Average package is around 7 to 8 lacs. I plan to go abroad for further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have to pay 40000 in a year. In first semester I have to pay 20000 which I have already paid and an additional 1800 for examinations. In total of 3 years I would be paying approximately 130000 . Their is a scholarship but it is only for sc students .
Campus Life
I am new to this university so I don't really know that much about it .but their are several events that happened recently like - chatt Puja , freshers party, youth festival, diwali celebration, and many more.
Admission
I don't applied for any other colleges or universities because when I was in +2 class , I already decided to get admission in guru Kashi university, talwandi sabo. It was not that difficult to get admission in this university but we have to follow some procedures to get admission.
Faculty
Faculty members are really good. Their are approximately 20 professors and assistant professors teaching us in first year. Exams are held twice in a semester Mst - mid sem term Est - end sem term They are not that difficult. Just had to read some important topics.
Night Life
Their is a gym in Guru Kashi university which is open to every student and a central canteen, a side canteen named bru and main library located in A block. Their are 3 main hostels inside the university campus . 2 of them are for girls and 1 is for boys . But their are several universitiy hostels outside the campus both for girls and boys.
