Remarks

Jamia is overall good university and posses good ranking in nirf and international ranking too. Here most of the students are north indian and local. Since it is minority university so here are some political drama happens some time. But overall it is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

B.tech comprises of 8th semester in 4 year. The course curriculum is as same as nit's as I discuss with my friend and flexible too.Labs and workshops are in good condition. A semester consist of two sessional and a end sem exam.

Placement Experience

3.5

As I know the placement is good for cse and exe department but average for core branches. Many core branches opt for gate, ies and psu preparation and they got decent rank too. I am a 1st year student so don't much idea about interenship .

College Events

4

Their are many departments in college and each departments have own annual fest.Faculty of engineering has it's own fest too and level of fest are average . But the sports exposure are awesome at here and inter faculty sports tournament celebrated once in a year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is really very feasible . For B.tech course we have to pay only 10k per year. But for NRI people fees are very high around 2 lacs per annum. Fee of most of the courses are feasible but for self finance course it is high

Fees and Financial Aid

As fee are very feasible so there are no need of loan at all,but for some course they provided loan by bank which is situated in campus. There are many scholarships opportunities too like jamia teachers association scholarships, aajmi scholarship and many more.

Campus Life

4

Here sports facilities are awesome and exposure too. Here a big space of cricket and football ground and a well designed complex for badminton, tt, basketball Jamia is nice place for extracurricular activities too. Labs are above average and administrations are really serious for labs.

Hostel Facilities

4

Here ,hostels are the major problem in respect of alotting hostel because here are very few seats for hostel. But the rate of hostel is feasible and quality of food is average.(they too offered non-veg). The hostels infrastructure are average and facilities are good

Alumni/Alumna

Jamia is one of the oldest university in India so obviously its alumni network is awesome .As for example v.sehwag ,shahrukh khan and many more are the alumni of this college . Many of alumni are in civil services and on the top post. For engineering faculty many are working in abroad and network is awesome. Here seniors are helpful but there is communication gap between juniors and seniors and most important jamia is totally ragging free campus.

Faculty

4

The faculty of college are overall average and more than average. Some faculties are too awesome and iits alumni too but most of the faculties are jamia alumni too. They are very disciplined and some faculties motivates too to do something creative.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
