- Industry demand doesn't matter as placements from our college are certain.
- The curriculum is always updated and therefore it is which is ofcourse fully use for the industry.
- Just like method acting, our faculties have adopted method teaching at SIRT.
Dislikes
- Everything is updated here apart from uniform as it is still like a school uniform and this should be changed.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well Data Science I felt is better than doing CSE where you learn all aspects but become master of none. AI & Data Science has seen the maximum demand in last couple of years and I feel it will be the most demanding in times to come. Well, course is too vast and and time is so less that it becomes possible to finish studies on time and score well at the exams.
Internships Opportunities
Well stipend was not offered but DRDO, Bhel and BEL from government sectors and McKinsey and Polaris from private sector offered internships. One new company is added and that is Capegemini who currently undertook a Boring Project wants interns for the same in their Pune Unit and they have offered winter internships this year.
Placement Experience
Obviously unless you are in your final years you can't apply for placements. However before the last semester, it is more or less fixed that with a package no less than of 7-8 LPA all students are placed in top companies like IBM, L&T Mindtree and HCL Tech among many others. Also, market demand is irrelevant as the college has such terms and conditions or let's say MOUs with them that they acquire maximum students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, Excellence, commands the lowest fees and gives optimum output as the fees is just 55k per semester. Also, for students of categories like OBC and others it's less than half of what we have to pay.
Campus Life
Well, area might be average as 12 acres I feel is not less or too much but I never felt that we needed more space. Sports facilities are immense and classrooms oh my word are so spacious and feels like luxury to be sitting in such classrooms. Our tech fest happened last month and it's called Tech Saga and annual fest is called Sage Utsav which is year end fest and happens mostly in April or May.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are great and also the luxury of staying in the hostels is great. We have been spoilt for choices as we have 6 boys hostels and from air-conditioned to non-airconditioned options we have them all. The mess serves pure vegetarian food and it is like no less than home cooked food.
Admission
Well LNCT Bhopal was the one but when I checked the fees i was like i can't afford and therefore I chose SIRT as in 1/3rd fees the college offers the same facilities, better quality teaching and undoubtedly better placements too.
Faculty
Hardly any faculties for whom I can disagree for not reaching well. Aditya Tayal is my favourite out of all the professors that we have. I have confirmed it with many other students too and all have said in one word that he is indeed the best of the best.
Interview Experience
Yes college has a college level counselling thing in which 8-10 students are chosen at once and given a topic from the world of tech. So, it's more of a debate and those who clear this round gets to the PI round where only basic questions are asked.
Night Life
In Bhopal the best unwinding spot is Tekri View Point and it is located just minutes away from our campus. Among restaurant it's one and only Wind and Waves Restaurant which is like supreme of supreme restaurant. Hostels are inside the campus and have a strict curfew timings of 9 and 8pm for boys and girls respectively.
