Remarks
No negative review.. only thing is that the syllabus that we are following is pretty outdated so we can't learn the new technology quickly and stuck with old ones in which some basics are fine but in depth knowledge is not required.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty old so that it is not up to the mark. The exam structure consist of two semesters yearly and have three internals before a semester. One has to pass internals with 60% and semester with 50%
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are pretty good before but now it has gone very low. The internship is very low percentile like 100 from 3000 people but placement is good only with software field. Only accept if you like coding
College Events
There are several department wise event organised by students as well as the college events organised by the college. The worst part is students have to get sponsor for the college and they have to separate works to themselves.so it requires a leader.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college is autonomous and hence the fee is very high and you can expect a minimum lakh per annum.and you may expect another lakh per annum for the hostel fee. So expect a high fee and take a room outside.
Fees and Financial Aid
You will get education loan from any banks if you get admission here. The scholarship is pretty low and you can get Max 10% of feee I believe. Since it is an autonomous institution you have to pay a hefty fee
Campus Life
Good cricket ground is there with football and cricket pitch and they used to conduct some team matches within department. Labs are good with latest equipment and technology. Yearly they used to conduct exhibition and events.
Hostel Facilities
No, I didn't opt for a hostel. Hostel facility is good and it has a lovely infrastructure. The only good thing about the College is the infrastructure but the food is not quite good as per hostel students.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is good. The senior students can sometime come to college and can give a lecture. They will give good guidance through placement time and they will useful ideas. They are doing Ms in foreign institution.
Faculty
The faculty are not so good. Mostly you can find the people who completed their graduation and post graduation from the same college being made as a professor. So the quality of faculty is low. They have limited knowledge when compared to other colleges
