Likes

The boys girls ratio according to me is the same
Social interaction is peak… the events that they organise are damn good not comparing any other colleges but im enjoying
The faculty is good and they’re teaching well

Dislikes

The college campus is pretty small and congested
The peer group is not as good as it was before as there is too much intake this year
There is not proper sports ground and facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

Bms is one of the top colleges in karnataka to be specific it is the second best college in Karnataka after rvce of course but I don't why they had too much intake of cse students this year this will impact the value of the college and placements

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 100 per year

Placement Experience

There is placements in our college but there is not guarantee that you'll get placed in the company you want or the package that you are expecting and there is mad competition and there is no guarantee that you'll be placed either but even if you don't get placed there is out of campus selection you could go for that

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 1.8 lakhs per year the comedk fee is 2.6 lakhs per year having fun in college right now not thinking about placements a to moment its pretty affordable as other colleges have similar fee structure

Campus Life

The club culture and the fest culture is top notch compared to any other college in our state bms us actually the biggest fest conducting college in Karnataka and the seniors are welcoming and there is not a boring day in college

Admission

This was the best college I could choose from the rank i got and Bangalore is a place for growth so it was a no brainier for me to choose this college over any other college and the placements are also good

Faculty

The faculty is ample considering the huge amount of students the campus is average because the area is small and there are more number of students and also bms is one of the oldest colleges in india its got a good reputation

Night Life

There is a gym in tye campus itself where you can unwind after a stressful day at college there is an indoor stadium as well where you can play basketball and badminton the college cafeterias are good

the eligibily might be from 3rd year. There are several companies such as capegemini hitachi patym dmart. 700 offers are offered. Highest is 25 lakh and average is around like 5 lakh. After the completion of my degree i would like to persue higher studies like MS.

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

The 6th,7th and 8th semesters are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visiting campus but it differs every year. The highest package is 7L-8L and the lowest package is 3L. My plan after getting a degree is to get a job in a good company.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus selection. A lot of companies visit like Bosch, Amazon, Flipkart, aequs, and many more. Around 40% of students get placements in the visited companies. My plan is to start a business by own.

Other colleges were not chosen as my rank wasn't suffecient enough. Comparitively to other entrance exams the best colllege with my rank would have been BMS. Hence the reason for choosing it..Admission process is throgh competetive exams or management quota.Competetive exams taken are COMEDK and KCET...the cutoff ranks again depend on the branch but go as low as 2000 for CS and related branches and upto 50000 for Civil and others..it can go even higher if reservation applied)...Read More

Overall summary of my college in Bengaluru.

I gave first preference to RVCE, but as my rank was less compared to cut off, I was unable to get a seat in the college and I ended up getting the seat in BMSCE which was my 2nd preference. The admission process is easy not much hectic. They will provide all the procedure required for admission. They even have their own mail system, they provide college mail id to all the students. I chose this college because I wanted to pursue CSE and this college seems to be a good option to do so. I did get rejection from a few colleges because I could crack their entrance exam.
