GNITV, an amazing experience

The only negative side of the college is its location. It is situated in sodpur which is the northern end of Kolkata. Which lead to an communication problem. But to be frank there is a good link of auto and busses nd trains ..which somehow manage the hustle .

As GNIT is now transformed to an autonomous college, so the course curriculum is well maintained, and in terms of campusing and diff competitive exams, that turns out to be very useful. They even prepare for aptitude and soft skills for campusing and so on. The exam structure is like, 8 semesters in 4 years, and 2 UNIT TEST exams in one semester, which means a total of 24 exams.

The placements are obviously the biggest question when it comes about engineering colleges. GNIT, being on of the finest college of Kolkata provides and good and fruitful campusing process by bringing alot of companies for recruitment, which every year in a gross recruits around 80%+ students for sure. GNIT has tied up with INTERNSHALA & HACKE EARTH. They provide a good source and links for internships to the students .

The events of GNIT are huge in number. Zyzvaa THE ANNUAL CULTURAL FEST . TESSERACT , the annual tech fest of GNIT Our collge also hosts SIH(SMART INDIA HACKATHON). JIS FEST , TECHINOVA (THE tech competition) And alot of evnts and programs.

The fee structure of b.tech of our college is somewhat around 4lakh . Which is quite feasible with respect to other private colleges. Added GNIT has the biggest campus life , which is rated nd measured to the largest campus in private colleges of West Bengal.

There are a few options for loan and scholarship in GNIT . They provide easy Student loans . Govt. Loans nd scholarships are Welly treated nd checked here . Our College have tie up with SBI and have a branch withing the campus.

Extracurricular activities are way WOW in GNIT . Sports like CRICKET & FOOTBALL & HANDBALL & BASKETBALL have reached a diff level in our college. GNIT was champions of JIS TROPHY & MAKAUT UNIVERSITY TROPHY for consecutive 4times.

Yes , I stay in hostel actually from first year . And the hostel facility & food is quite good to be honest . And more precisely they maintain hygiene. The warden and the working staffs are quite helpful and sensible too.

Yes , they are pretty awesome and helpfull in terms of managing events & campus interviews. They guide the running students as mentors and prepare them for better results. They hosts diff seminars for students which turn out to be very fruitful.

Faculties of the college are pretty awesome, and we'll qualified. Maximum of them holds PhD after their masters in their specific field. They have a proper teaching experience and know how to handle problems .
