Remarks

The college has been there for more than twenty years. It's not like a big college. The positive thing is you have only four hours of college a day. The negative things are its infrastructure, canteen is not good, Mobile phones are not allowed but still we take it in XD

Course Curriculum Overview

3

We have 6 semesters, 3 odd and 3 even semesters. The course is basically easy. We have 70 students in a class. You will have three exams before you write your semesters. Two internal exams of twenty five marks and one model exam for seventy five marks. Best two out of the three will be taken to calculate your internal marks.

Placement Experience

3

Yes. Our college does have placements and job opportunities. I haven't completed my college so I have no idea about the stipend and internships. They might tell us to do once we get into third and final year.

College Events

4

Our latest event was the sports day. It just happens inside our college. Half a day program. Mostly students take up the responsibility of arranging necessary things. Chief guests will be called for morning flag hoisting and March past and when once the events are completed afternoon chief guests will award the prizes and the people will be allowed to disperse.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure for me was 16000 per semester. Compared to other colleges it is feasible. Both the shifts have same amount of fees. First year students who has language other than tamil have to pay additional amount. Remaining semesters have the same amount

Fees and Financial Aid

Well I haven't availed any such facilities. There is scholarships for SC and St candidates. Payment of fees can be extended upto one month and the fine amount is not so big. If you are not able to pay within the time you can ask them time.

Campus Life

2.5

Culturals does happen on out college. Separate departments have their separate culturals. Altogether college will host two to three culturals. Sports day will happen in once in a year. Other college cultural invites will be available. Interested student take part in them and OD will be provided for those candidates.

Alumni/Alumna

Once the help us asked obviously people will be there to help you. I have just borrowed books from my senior rather than buying. Alumni might help you once you are out of the college. Faculties in college announces vacancies for part time jobs.

Faculty

3

The college has a separate department for English and Faculties are not so strict. They just try to complete the portions or just give the important questions to the students and prepare them for the exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
