Life at jct

Basically im from kerala and i wanted to study somewhere out of my state. So that is why i chose this college for my graduation. The syllabus needs to be updated as some of my known people who works in the same field has told me that this is not the technology which they are using now. But also its ok to study with the basics because im a student. So a good start will be always right with the basics.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 5th or 6th semester. Major mechanical companies like ashok leyland and L&T has visited our campus with an average offer of 3 LPA. highest package from placements are 10 to 15 LPA. Almost 90% students gets placements from our college. My plan is to go for higher studies in the same field

The yearly fees for my course is 75000. When you join you should pay 10000 as admission fees. This will be taken to your tution fee later which is 25000.bus fee or hostel fee will be added if you use any of these facilities. The average bus fee is 15000 for year and average hostel fee is 30000 per semester. A small maintenance fee for both hostel and bus will be added later.there are merit seats for students who comes through TN govts entrance test.also there are scholarships for backward casts.

Names of annual festivals will be changed as the committees are getting changed every year. So the annual fests are commonly called as culturals and ethnic day. The tech fest of our department is named as dhruvas. This will be conducted in every 6 months. The library is good enough for our requirements. Classrooms are smart with projector facilities.this college is a plays a major role in sports competetion of this state and we have a large ground for every common sports.

I tried to get admission in christ university banglore for the same course. My admission procedures were almost completed but my family was not ok with the fees which they were demanding. This is a management college which works with autonomous status. So they don't have any seperate exams for the admission. A good percentage of marks in 12th will be accepted.

The ratio of faculties to students are good. There are enough number of faculties for the students. Also they are very helpful and always welcoming. There are internal exams, model exams and university exam in every 6 months. Some semesters will be even shorter.

There are so many hangout spots inside and outside the college. My favourite spot is the canteen and the mall rearby our college. Yeah the locality is safe to roam around at nights because its near the national highway and the shops and food spots are always open.
