Likes
- They emphasis more on studies and exams for preparation.
- Several clubs for students interested in coding , hackathons and gaming also
- some teachers are genuinely supportive and encouraging.
Dislikes
- School like system for example can’t let you go out of college and will not open gates till a certain time.
- Less fest and functions for students to do something beside studies.
- Sometimes they won’t give any holiday even if it is ordered by higher authority like DM.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the curriculum 7 out of 10 because they don't provide any practical for what we have learned. The teaching method is very conventional and old style they should make it more interactive with real time problems to make the course more interesting. The first internal exams are held after 1 to 1.5 months of commencement of classes and next one will be after 1 to 1.5 months of first internal and if they have time they will also conduct PUT for better preparation. Generally the first internal have 2 units as syllabus and second one will have remaining 3 and for PUT it will be 5 units complete. They also conduct labs side by side
Internships Opportunities
As far as I know college do provide internships and training but I don't remember companies name and also have mini and major projects as part of curriculum to enhance students knowledge. They also organise experts talks for students to get insights of market situation etc
Placement Experience
Right now the placement situation is bad at very college most of the companies that have visited are of sales therefore no scope for tech students. I have plans for off campus placement but will also maintain my cgpa for campus placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees will vary every year right now I had paid 135000 for my first year 122000 for second year and 125000 for my third year and for 4th year it will be around 127000 all amount excludes exam fees .I don't know the tuition fees and all right now but there are many things like ews and fee wavier things which can compensate your tuition fees and all.
Campus Life
I have not joined any clubs as I don't like it but yes there are many clubs which students can join . Library is good and have various books , journals and research papers. Most of the classrooms has projectors for interactive sessions. Sports and extracurricular activities are mediocre not so satisfactory.
Admission
I had applied for ABSEC and they gave me ECE as my course cause I lacked in JEE therefore I rejected it as I don't like physics and all. Admission process is simple either you can take admission on basis of your 12th results and if you have given jee then this is also an option and they also have scholarships like ews and fee wavier.
Faculty
Not all teachers are that good but some of the teachers are top tier in knowledge and everything. They are genuinely supportive and encouraging and will help you with your problems. If we talk about only internals exams then it will be around 20 and maybe more for first year students. The difficulty level is not that high but yes it is beneficial for practice for university examination. Weightage of examinations is 60 and they have made tiers for students having different marks like students with less than 30 will be put on red band and will have extra classes. They also sometimes conduct PUT that is Pre University Test which have structure like university exams and evaluation is also done like university exams.
Interview Experience
No I didn't faced any GD for admission rather I had direct admission you can also get admission through JEE counselling and avail scholarships . EWS and fee wavier are also there. In fee wavier your tuition will get compensated
Night Life
As I don't live in hostel so I don't have knowledge about hostel life but yes there are several spots near colleges to hangout with friends like RDC Rajnagar here you can find cafés and good places to eat shop etc
