None as NIET was in my sight whenever I came to Greater Noida during vacations. Admission process is through score that we have secured at UPSEE or through management quota. If one applies through management quota then a caption fees also has to be paid along with the fees during 1st year.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is such that it can give sleepless nights to anyone because it's vast. UPTU hasn't kept it that tough but our college has the knack of adding on things. I agree it's for us but for those who can't keep the pace it's not for them because our curriculum trains us to be a thorough engineer.
Placement Experience
Oracle and Mphasis have included their work in our syllabus and therefore when it comes to placements both come and take almost half the students. Rest half are taken care of by several other IT companies as placements of NIET are probably the best in Greater Noida.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for Engineering course at NIET is 6 lakhs annually and that is what everyone has to pay. For sure there are many scholarships based on caste and merit and therefore those who qualify do get 20-30% scholarship.
Campus Life
Well we have events for sports and technical things. Like we host a techno fest called Blitzschlag and a basketball event called AiAMBT. Then we have a final sports fest in which every sport competition is taken place and that is named MSF. Campus ain't that big but still has 2 girls and 2 boys hostel buildings inside the campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel has two seater and three seater rooms. I am in a three seater room that has one washroom. We also have common washrooms. Water coolers are there on each floor and the mess is common for both boys and girls hostel.
Faculty
Lovable, charming, dashing, knowledgeable and what all adjectives I know, i can use for them and it will still be less. Infusing us with a plethora of knowledge and building technical skills in us looks like their religion to them as they do it that whole heartedly.
Night Life
Bikanervala, is the best as not just outs but all the nearby university students meeting point is either the street food vendor shops outside the college or Bilanervala. For nightout we have to take permission and Noida is known for amazing nightlife.
