my experience in Bennett university

the curriculum is very relevant to the course they are teaching,you will definately feel like you are learning something that is important for the future. take for example the coding,the university promotes hackathons to improve the coding culture. the subjects really are good and do contain the important things. the practical assignments on the circullam are also really good. youll have two exam periods,one is mid sem. and the other is end sem. youll also have project submission ,assignment submisssion and lab exam on the end sem. the grading is relative grading,which means youll be given marks based upon all the other students. they will be taking an average of all students and grade the exams accordingly. the exams will be easy if you are strong on the theory part.

bennett University partners with prominent firms such as Amazon, Deloitte, Microsoft, Times Group, KPMG, and HCL for internships. These companies offer roles in areas like software development, data analytics, digital marketing, and financial consulting.

placement rate is over 90% and average package for btech is 8lpa.which is bit exaggerated ,seniors told me its around.5 lpa. the highest is 1.37 crore for btech in our collage. the placements start at 6th semester when you can start internship. adobe and amazon are some of the key recruiters. i plan to do masters in cloud computing after completing my degree.

Registration fees for first the year is 45000.On average the the tution fees for year is 390000 without any scholarship.you can get 50% scholarship if score above 95% in 12th class or 95 percentile in jee. The security deposit is 30000. And they will also be charging rupees 12000 examination fees per year. Also if you are a dayscholar you will be charged 26000 for sports charges. A senior of mine got 50% scholarship and he has been maintaing it for 3 years. to maintain the scholarship you will have to score above 8cgpa for year. The prices are definitely high but considering it is a private institution ,id say they are decent enough.

the campus life in this collage is pretty good,there are fests like utopia held and many events like bluemoon are also held. there are also many clubs you can join. the library offers all the books for you to read for the subject. there is a football ground which frequently holds tournaments,and also a swimming pool. there is also a big gym in the sports complex. the classroms have projectors and are used very frequently.

the hostel rooms do get conjusted at times as there is very liitle place to walk around. the mess though is really bad. there is no flavour in their food,it does improve for a brief period of time but it comes back at the same place again. i constantly had to eat out cuz of this. there is an off campus hostel which i heard was decent. the laundry faciliteis are good tho. the bathrooms are also well maintained.

ive applied to gitam,vit and lpu. i got into all three of them,i did not get into vit main campus but got into amravati branch. the reason i chose bennett is cuz of the foreign programs they had and i also heard that faculty is also really good. the time i joined,there was no eligibility criteria ,you just had to pass. now tho,youll have to get atleast 75% to study btech.

the teacher to student ration in tutorial and lab classes is 1:30 and for lectures it depends(1:200 or 1:100).The student faculty relationship is also very good,they do communicate with you and answer all your questions.the faculty for the most part is good. the lab faculty is really good. the lecture faculty of the core subject(in my case c++) are also good. but when it comes to the lectures of the other subjects,they are not upto the mark. they just read out the slides given to them and dont bother or put effort in teaching the subject.The exams are a bit difficult,you cant attempt without knowing the theroy of the subject. but i wouldn't call them hard. the greading is really strict though, youll have answer the question perfectly to get the marks. they dont give grace marks for writing the formula or the process. youll have to be really thorough with the subject.

there is a place which is open 24/7 where you can get food and drinks. all the other outlets are closed by 11pm. tere are no timimgs as such now,you can stay out there the whole night and no one says anything. there is alounge to hangout. it is quiet safe to walk around at night.
