- the gender ratio and so poor . in my class there are 83 students and there are only 16 girls others are boys.

my branh in hbtu is chemical engineering and it is one of good branch here Many students choose HBTU for its strong emphasis on engineering and technology courses.the available streams like Chemical Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, and Computer Science, electronics, paint, plastic ,biochemical,food, leather,information technology, electrical, oil technology.
Internships Opportunities
currently i am in second year so i have not any internship experience. IN third year , most of students got internship, companies for chemical engineerings are for internship are exxon mobil, jubliant ingrevia, iocl, etc..
Placement Experience
The placement scenario at Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) Kanpur is generally strong, particularly for engineering and technology programs. HBTU has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell (T&P Cell) that coordinates with various companies to facilitate job opportunities for students. the placement is good for chemical engineering and for paint technology there is 100% placement . others are okay okay,. company visits in college are exxon mobil, samsung, maruti, bajaj, hero,IOCL, Reliance, L and T, OCCL, ETC.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for b tech for first year is 1lakh 35 thousand and further you have to pay 1lakh 27 thousand five hundred. Up govt. Scholarship for hosteller and OBC is 60thousand rupees.. Tution fees is 75,000. And for the scholarship attendance must be minimum 75%
Campus Life
THE fest name are- cultural fest is adhyaay, technical fest is technika, literary fest is hunkaar, sport fest is agaaz, this all held in month of april. there is one central library in the east campus. the class rooms are okay in main building and LHC classes have good facilities. there are various clubs in colllege for singing there is octave, for dancing there is gruv, poetry club, dramatic club, and many more.
Admission
i belong to kanpur and it is nearby that is why my parents want me to be here . i also applied for kiit , vit,. i did not opt for that colleges because those are very very far away. The admission process for BTech in HBTU KANPUR . Undergraduate Admissions (B.Tech/B.E.): Entrance Exam: Admission to the undergraduate B.Tech program is based on the candidate's performance in the JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination). Candidates must qualify for this national-level exam to be eligible for admission.
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is 1: 40. The relationship between the faculty and students is excellent.The faculty is very cooperative, helpful .For one semester,there are 3 exams; two mid semester exams and one end semester. The chemical engineering of HBTU is best. the semester starts in august and ends in december.
Night Life
there are college canteens .and outside there is kanpur zoo at walking distance, and harcoutian maggie point. we often go to temples iskcon temple, JK temple, parmath , these are near college. in the girls hostel the timings for first year is 7:30 pm and for others is 8:30 pm. and there is no night canteen in hostel . before the hostel in timings we can go anywhere in or outside the campus . for the gym students go nearby gym in nawabganj.
