Likes

Experienced Faculty , teaches well and cares students growth, especially statistics to teacher
Freedom for students, never forces or torchers students
Decent infrastructure, not so bad culture

Dislikes

Restriction in selecting NCC corps, judging in just one drill
Need to focus on practical projects to attract Companies for placements
Sports facility, expect for 2 or 3 days while events, there is no any facilities for playing sports

Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for BSc statistics , We have Mathematics, Statistics, Computer science, other two languages. Statistics and Computer science and mathematics are vital subjects in the field of Information Technology

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1)Per year - around 30000, 2)Fee Rehembreshment for BC category around 9000(in two installments). 3) For SC/ST category, you get 3500 more than BC category. 4) Admission fee around 2000 5) For every semester you have to pay examination fee separately

Campus Life

We will be having NCC and NSS camps hardly for 1 week. And Fresher and Farewell days, for festival like bathukamma, Ok independence day we will be having cultural events. Except those ,we don't have any other cultural fests

Admission

1) This oldest college in the city, so it's is more reliable and trustworthy. 2) And fee structure is also affordable and convenient for payment installments 3) Comparing other colleges, I find the culture that suits me

Faculty

Most of the faculty is very good in subject, because of their experience. Some of them really cares for their students growth, line statistics professor Pushpa mam, And Mathematics professor Lavanya mam, And English professor too.

Night Life

Hangout places for us , are mostly movie theatre nearby college. After the college we directly goes to movies most of the time, and for playing indoor games. Other small food stalls are our favourite spots

From all courses many students are placed for great companies like MNCs and IT companies. Companies like cognizant,wipro,Genpact, Sutherland ete. The minimum package that all these companies provides 200000 to 3.5 LPA

College for Bright Future

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the bsc(MSCS) because i have interest on the physics and its related topics so, this made me to choose this course and i felt it was best. The course curriculum was well structured and prepared me for the real-world applications and their development. This was much useful for my higher studies. The course is perfect and no improvements needed but only the thing from my side is to add some workshops and trainings. The exams are conducted twice a year and i feel its good.

our college placement are decent student become eligible from 5th december and companies tcs, wipro, infosys and Tech mahindra visited our campus offering 40-50 offers every year. Thier package goes upto 15lakh per annum while the average package remains around 4-5lakh per annum. Mostly for roles like software trainee, support engineer and sales associates. Nearly 60-70% of student get placed

From sem 4 Campus recruitment training starts and after training they take placements. vipro ,amazon are some of the companies approached by college highest would be 600000 and average should be 400000 approx.out of 50 students 20 students can get placement.my plans after getting degree is to do pg in statistics

I wished to study Immunotherapy and medical microbiology in my further higher education and thus chose Biotechnology, Microbiology and Chemistry. Having a mandetory dissertation helped gain overall practical experience. Though, the college lacked any and all facilities. They hide all their instruments in a room for NAAC evaluation only.

A supportive leaning environment with practical exposure

I choose pragathi degree college for women's because of it's affordable fee structure,safe and disciplined campus, and strong reputation for the Bsc computer science program.The college is affiliated with Osmania University and has consistently good academic results.Compared to other local colleges i considered, pragathi stood out due to it's women - only environment, experienced faculty,and balanced focus on academic and personal development.
