About my college

I guess when you guys really read this review you will know the negatives. Let me think about something positive.....yes I don't have to attend the classes at all. All year I sit at home and educate myself and pay 10000? to get a piece of paper which will ultimately have no value at all.

The science and technology department in a matter of joke in the university. There are no proper labs, substandard teachers, no regular classes, overly political environment. Exams are a matter of one month period during which entire University appears for exam. BSc does not have semester exams so we have to appear for exam once a year and have to mug up the entire course all at once.

No, no and no. There are no placements at all. No internships provided. If you call becoming student president an internship then yes, cause they get heavily paid somehow, so there's your stipend. We were supposed to get scholarship which we didn't get this year.

The college provides funds for events like freshers and farewell, but you need to have contacts to really get the money. Yes there is a fresher party which students have to pay for basically, there is a freshers party. Felicitation ceremony is celebrated every year. In addition there are various camps like blood donation etc throughout the year.

Generally the fees is cheap, not more than 5000? for the entire year. But science department is not funded by the government, so we have to pay 10000? every year. This includes tution fees, exam fees and practical fees.

The college doesn't offer scholarship. Scholarship is provided by UP government, last year I paid 8500? and got all my money back, which i used to pay for this year's fees. Now I still haven't received my scholarship for this year.

Laboratory condition is sub standard. There is sports department with no proper equipments. There are no extracurricular activities other than this. The condition of library is sympathetic, no books available.

The seniors can be helpful, but if you want to keep your bones intact, you better mind your own business. The alumni network is pretty strong because most of the students roaming around the campus are either alumnus or not students at all.
