Course Curriculum Overview
I'm doing B.Com( Finance with Taxation). This course is blend with proper updated finance and taxation subjects. We have GST and Income tax paper in almost all the semester which provides practical knowledge in this area
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for my complete course is 2.5 Lacs. College provides scholarships to students who maintain above 9 cgpa in all the semesters. The approx fees for each sem in bcom is around 44,000. Caution fee is around 2k.
Campus Life
There's many clubs within each departments such as finance and communications club. There's no regular extra curricular activities offered on campus. But they do host inter campus sports tournaments for students who are interested.
Admission
Other than amrita, I got admitted into christ university and jain university. I made the decision to choose this college since it is more cost effective and offers good placements. The admission process in amrita is quite simple since there is no entrance test. They provide seats based on interview and marks obtained in school.
Faculty
Faculty to student ration is around 10:1. There are really good teachers in the commerce and computer department. The faculty are very much experienced, which helps students to prepare for the industry
Night Life
College only provides hostels to girls. Boys are supposed to find accomodation outside the campus. There's only a single cafeteria inside the campus. Since the college is located at the heart of kochi, the college is surrounded by good places to hangout. But if you're a girl staying in hostels, I'd say there's no night life for them.
