An average college

There is a utmost Seriousness over discipline. You need to be a purely disciplined student in front of high authority. You would not get random outings to visit if you are a hosteller. For Dayscholars no permit to go outside during the college hours.

The college is under AKTU. It follows the curriculum issued by the University. To be honest, the course is not feasible. It is totally subjective with no practical approach. Just study a night before to pass the exams. Semester pattern is followed. Each year two semesters happen and in between sessional exams for each semester. This year the pattern has changed a bit. Well, the placements are average. For the streams like CS and IT, placements are above average. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Daffodil recruit students on regular drives. The Placement Cell at the college put large and remarkable efforts for the betterment of students. It believes in quality placements.

A lot of events take place at our college. "Zest"- Cultural Fest "Aamod"- Sports Fest "Techvyom"-Technical Fest Every thursday for an hour and so activities by different department clubs are organized. Also in the meantime, department activities are organised. Clubs are Illuminati, Equinox, Robotics, Synergy etc.

Fee structure is feasible. It goes approx. 2 lacs per annum for a regular hostel student, and add on the daily expenses made by a hosteller on living. The fee structure and registration is decided by AKTU.

The college is good at awarding scholarships. The meritorious students are awarded with large amount of rupees. If you score more than 85% then you that much of scholarship multiplied by 10000 ie for 86% ?86, 000 and so on also ?30, 000 for 80% to 85% and 20,000 for 75% to 80%.

Every Thursday ,at the last one hour activities by different departments are organised which are fun and learning. Labs are equipped with all necessary equipments. College has a central ground for cricket and football, basketball and volleyball courts, badminton and squash courts, a pool room and other games.

Hostel rooms are spacious with good ventilation. No issues in any regards, be it water or electricity. Both have 24hr supply. Cleanliness is maitained at the hostel. Hostels have common rooms where one can watch TV, play TT etc.

The alumni network is very strong. Very frequent, meetings with Alumnae is organized, where one can get a lot to learn. Also students are encouraged to have an interaction with Alumni. Seniors are helpful and show the best path.

Faculties, here, are both experienced and inexperienced. Some have experience of 20 odd years while some are freshers. But the quality in teaching is way beyond good. They are dedicated and determined towards students. And put great efforts.
