Remarks
Overall nice College. Every College has some drawbacks and some advantages but we should ignore that and focus on our studies because at last its your own study that matters, teachers and College can only give guidance.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have done my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication. For first year the course curriculum will feel lengthy but after few Semesters you will get used to it. There were 6 ( sometimes 7) subjects in each semester.
Placement Experience
Honestly speaking Placements and job opportunities were not good at that time but now it got better. When I was in 4th Year Idea Telecom Company had come for pool recruitment for EC department and 6 students were selected out of 150.
College Events
There are two events that happen in this College every year. First is Fresher's Party which is held in October and the second one is held in March which is annual function, it is called Anusandhan. Kalpvaig is also organised every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
From 2011 - 2015 it was only 60000 Rs. per year. And hostel fees was 40000 Rs per year including mesh service. But now the tuition fee has increased and so as the hostel fee has increased but still its quite affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is not provided by the college but it is provided by the University which it is affiliated to but for only those students whose annual family income is very low. Loan facility is offered by the College.
Campus Life
Labs were terrible, this College is not famous for extra curricular activities so don't get your hopes high. Sports events are organised every now and then but the college lacks good equipment for sports. It has a big ground and one basketball court apart from that nothing is provided.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is very weak. Senior students are quite helpful though. They will help you till the third year, from fee to accomodations and books etc. also. Don't get your hopes high for alumni because Alumni meet never happens
Faculty
Faculty was quite good. Specially for the 3rd year and 4th year subjects. They were qualified. And the teachers are still teaching who taught us during our course (2011-2015). Most of them were GATE qualified too.
