Likes

The college is fine as per the course charges but they still need to do some improvement in terms of extra activities and sports categories there are very less sports in college for bca students leaving extra activities everything is fine..
The campus if nice its good the college offers many courses.. there are many places to hangout with your friends and socialize the teachers and staffs are good and the environment feels good too much better than i exppected
The college offers many facilities such as labs your own desktop and even a library with your own pcs the campus also has free wifi with internet access so no worries

Dislikes

The teachers don't follow the class routine and that can be a pain
Very less extra activities such as functions and others
Very less opportunities for internships and placement

Course Curriculum Overview

The reason to choose bca was to learn computer language and bca offer many opportunites in terms of the it departmant as i have already decided to do MCA after doing bca so i decided to do bca.. As i mentioned the college has very less opportunities and internships to offer.. But as per the charges 28k per annum its good The mid sem occurs every 3 months and the semester exam is mostly decided by the ranchi university as the course bca of yogoda college is affliated to ranchi university

Internships Opportunities

I don't know exactly about the internships opportunites.. But the ones who were placed they got offer from the bank... The college do offer group projects but as a first year student i have'nt got any of them until now

Placement Experience

The college don't offer many placements and internships.. The internships are only there if you're a straght A+ student.. The highest package was around 9 lakhs The average package is 3-4 lakhs which is quite less as per the course The percentage of students getting placed are 20% My plan is to do MCA after completing my course

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee of bca is 28200 per year and 14000 each semester in which your examination fees is also included.. So the total amount of the complete bca course is around 90000 including admission fees.. Tge college offers scholarship for students as per their grade and the college also provides bonafide for other scholarships to avail such as e kalyan and many moree..

Campus Life

There are very less clubs cause the college don't focus in extra activities but their are few groups you can join such as kabaddi and yoga.. The libarary offers full internet access with many books.. The library aura of the library is good to sit and study.. As per the technological part the college has pc in lab in which you can practice coding

Admission

I choose this college because the facilities it provides as per the charges is really good.. And the discipline is good too as the charges are less . Other colleges in ranchi are expensive withe their bca course.. Their is no eligibility criteria for admission the admission fees in 7000/- in which your 3 months semester fees is included

Faculty

The ration between girls and boy is around 8 girls out of 10 .. As per the faculty the teachers and staff are good but they don't support us to do any extra activities or attend any functions they are strictly focused on their courses and subjects

Night Life

The college does'nt offer any hostel facilities the college do has a nice canteen which offers only veg food and the parks and the ground is good place to relax with your friends.. There is no such thing as nightlife in our college..

There are two timing shifts of exam morning and afternoon shift , mba students may have 2 exams in one day . The curriculum does not prepares you for real world application's. Need some internships and industrial exposure through college

I don't think that we can get placement from this college. And if students are practicing by their own they can get off campus palcement after 2nd year . 40% of students only get placement or less than that . After getting BCA degree I would like to go for MCA

After 5 semester you are eligible for campus placement and their many placement company come for like miracle innovation Tata, Bosch etc .the highest package of our college is 800000 getting placement test on your skills and my plans after getting the degree is doing his MCA with job.

A good college for a student who is from not so good background.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered to students who are in their final year. Capable students can easily crack the placement. A decent package is provided of an average of 2-3 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is about 7LPA. Many different companies visit the college during the placement period offering a good package. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, puma, ceat, Flipkart, etc visit the college for placement. At least 70-78% of students get placed and a rapid improvement is seen in the placement graph of the college.

Placements are really good for my department. From Semester 4 th you all are ready to get placed as company visits in an even semester. The companies visited are DeloitteUsi, Capgemini, Tcs, Wipro, EY, and Byjus many more...you just need to be attentive. The highest package till now is 10 lpa and the average is 3 lpa And there are placement coordinators who help you in guidance. Almost 75 to 80 percent gets placed with low to average packages.
