detailed review about bmsce

in cse curriculum they majorly focus on other topics too until 2nd sem. like constitution of india, scientific foundation for health and all so that we even think out of the box. we even have options subjects to choose like green buildings, renewable energies. in the other optional section we can choose electrical or mechanical or electronics. exam timing will be 1.5 hrs nd maximum marks wil be of 40 marks for internals.

comapnies like hp amazon jp morgans visit of intership with a stipend of 25k. we even get training for placement and intership which will be provided by our college itself. our clg even give us projects that helps us to crack interview.

students start internship here from 6th sem itself. companies like jp morgans, microsoft visit here for interships. students who start their intership are likely to be placed in that company itself. even hp company visits here. my seniors got a package upto 13LPA.. this year ie 2024 85% of students got placed

i am paying yearly 3L which inclued everything(college fees+miscellaneous fees) lab fees will be collected later which will be informed after some days. there is nothing like caution fees. its just the miscellaneous and tution fees. for sc st it depends. and coming to management, for 4 yesrs it will be roughly of 45L if joined early. if u make late, it can go upto 70L for the people who join through kcet can avail ssp scolorship which will come upto 2L for 4 years.

here every day one or the other thing would be going on by the clubs. there are n number of clubs which students can join, btw u even need to collect 100 activity points to be eligible for a degree certificate. u will get points by joining club and volunteering. even the library is huge wit vast number of books. also this clg focuses a lot on sports, so ppl with intrest in sports can join sports club. overall campus expreience is great

i choose this clg over others because of the main reason that is, bmsce is the oldest clg of all in bangalore. it is from 1946. and coming to admission process, ppl can get into this clg by kcet, comedk or management quota. peopke coming through kcet must bag a rank within 5k for cse course and people coming through comedk must get a rank within 1.5k. comedk fees will be 3L per year and kcet fees will be 1L per year including everything. hostel fees will be different and depends upon which would u choose.

i wouldnt say all the faculties are bad or dont teach good, majorly the cad faculties need to improve. other faculties teach pretty good. nothing to worry about it. for example the best faculty is chemistry sir(i dont remember the name but every chemistry faculty teaches good). coming to exams there are internals which are held frequently. the difficulty of papers are moderate and sem end exams are held in march.

coming to the gym part u need to pay extra yearly of that which might be something 50k. i wouldnt recommend joining it as it is not that great u can join some other gym for comparitevly lesser price outside with a great place(like cult which comes for 15k per year). hostel life is great but fees is very high. i recommend u joining a pg which comes 10k per month(lowest in the area). places to hangout near clg are gandhi bazaar. it is safe area to roam at night.
