Remarks
The college has a good reputation but is not as good as it is considered. Nevertheless, it is a standard college with opportunities for competent people. It doesn't have an excellent infrastructure but is not poor also.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty basic and not at all advanced. They use 10-15 years old technologies and softwares but it does establish a base for coding. The exams are distributed among 3 CIAs(2nd CIA is mod sem exam) and an end sem exam. Attendance fetches you marks as well.
Placement Experience
No companies come to the campus for placement, but we get called for pool campus interview in Parul University, Baroda. Infosys and Wipro offers jobs there for a package of around 2 lakhs pa. The college doesn't provide any internship opportunities.
College Events
Annual Culfest: happens yearly and includes sports & arts events. This is the only big event that happens in the college Some departments also have their personal fests like eco fest but they are very small fests
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible. This was the main reason I joined the college. For BCA, it was 15k per sem and the science & arts feel is around 3-5k per sem. This is pretty cheap as compared to other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college doesn't provide any loan facility. You have to take loans from outside if you want to. The college informs us sometimes about scholarships offered by the Gujarat govt. But doesn't give any of its own.
Campus Life
All of them are ok ok. Not too good. The labs are not technologically up to date. The college does participate in outside sports events but only a few students are allowed to do so. We have tarumaitra in the campus but is not very active.
Hostel Facilities
No, i didn't not opt for hostel but I do know about it. The men's hostel is in the campus and has moderate facilities. It isn't very sophisticated. The women's hostel is outside the campus at a distance of around 400m
Alumni/Alumna
There is no alumni network in working. We are not even informed about the alumni of out College. The seniors are helpful at times but not necessarily. They usually are consumed in themselves but do help when you ask multiple times.
Faculty
The faculty are moderately skilled and are not very professional except a few teachers. They definitely consider your personal relations with them while grading. They also get competitive among each other and you might have to choose sides.
