JIIT a good university

A more practical approach is better along with that a better faculty is also needed with fluent English speaking skills. Exams were completed in a couple of days we had to give 3 exams consecutively with an hour break in between.

Management trainee was the role offered in internships. The task was to work under your head and learn the process along with that create a report on What you have learned as various other projects given by our head.

After 3rd semester students were able to get campus placements. Amazon, Wipro, Google, Microsoft, etc various other reputed companies visited the campus for placement. Among a group of 10 students 7 were able to placements as the training and placement cell available in the university were very helpful.

The detailed fee structure was 67500 for the first semester it varied in different semesters as some had more subjects or less so it was 71500 in some semesters too due to increased number of subjects. The expense also included 4000rs for uniform and 500 rs for I'd card along with semester fee. A fine of rs 500 was also given to students who were not in uniform, consecutive fines resulted in increase in the amount. 140 credits should and a gpa of 4.5 above is needed to get a degree. Some faculties were a little too strict as they removed students from classes just for asking for a pen to write and if you were not writing then also you were removed from lectures as you were sitting idly.

Campus festivals were nowhere to be found when I was a first year and also in second year it was in my third year that I was able to see the annual fest and a couple of other events. Many clubs were also there but there was no time specified to do club activities, you can do club activities after 4 pm but most of the students went home at that time as there were no more classes left.

Doon University in dehradun was also a college I applied for and got the acceptance letter but during that time there was corona so my family recommended me to get a University which is near my home. Overall Jiit is a good college a couple of things can be fixed with a much more better management system and faculty to enhance customer experience.

There are 3 exams t1 t2 t3. T1 and T2 are of 20 marks and t3 of 30 marks with 20 marks internal assessment. Garima Mathur a very strict faculty she used to kick students out of her lectures for a very minor cause, she did teach 3 students in a class strength of 50 as everyone else was kicked out the class due to not bringing laptops or coming late to class even for 2 minute.

Just outside gate number 1 of the university there are a couple of teastalls selling ciggerates and maggi and shakes and various other food items. The students mostly spend their time at the teastall doing all sorts of shananigans with their friends.
