Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose it because i was interested in the subjects overall they taught like accounting hrm consulting law of business and overall operations of business so that's what made me choose this course. The curriculum was well framed according to me and just found if the student have the seriousness it will be relevant in the real world partially otherwise we all know how real world problems will be solved not only by bookish knowledge and teachers should engage more will be my suggestion and the difficulty level of the semester exam was on point Different questions had their own level of difficulty Doable questions difficulty level 1 and 2 these type of questions were always present in every semseter

Placement Experience

3

I did not took any job but i got interviewed by few executives of itc and Infosys company well i got the job offer from itc but did not make it the interview of Infosys byt my one friend named sejal got the job but we both did not joined as the ctc was 3.6 lakh pa for my job in itc and 3.8 of Infosys so the package revolves arround these numbers

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for all category students were same it was 30 thousand per semester at first then 29000 something but for rest of the 5 semesters and this was it , no other fees of anything was charged . We got scholarship too but did not understand on what basis they give how much amount oyr yearly fees was almost 60000 but i got 11 thousand scholarship only for 3 years but my friend who was also of general category got 22 thousand and many more students got less than 11 k and more than 22k too so I couldn't understand how they distributed it but yes scholarship is available

Campus Life

3

As i told the campus was huge even the had electric rickshaw roaming all over the campus which was free for students , canteens were the we helped ouee seniors of mcom in 2 programmes one was hindi kavi sammelan and the guest was Kumar vishwas who also studied from university of lucknow and one programme of cultural representation of different stated in which the cm of up was present so the we did the volunteering work and the over-all experience was both good and hectic but the infrastructure from inside is good the auditoriums are big ac's are present in library and one small auditorium is also there for programmes of one department or meeting of teachers we had full ac cyber library too except the student unions the overall social life is good and facilities are their but sometimes they are not managed well like the water cooler in the summer , Many dance teams kushti teams ncc and singing groups were their too I was a part of singing group and sang songs in the ocassion of cultural presentation of states programme in our college ...these will definitely help in the overall growth of any students but the students were generally from other districts and locals were very less and those who were they were more polite and friendly Many other festivals of books , general festivals like dandiya diwali was also celebrated i enjoyed watching sports but did not played, many students played which were in my class and i can tell the experience was decent not much good and they provide less oportunity to continue in that sport if they don't liked you which seems biased from my eyes too

Admission

Generally the admission in university of lucknow the take admission by written test or cuet but i got admission in pandemic period so i got shortlisted in their last list as i scored a decent percentage in class 12 so that's how i got admission I was filled the form of other colleges which were affiliated from this university only so i chose the university as i got selected and the admission process was simple i got allotment letter and i just needed to submit that with my fee receipt which should be submitted only . The fees should always be submitted online . I missed the last date to submit the fees too and the portal was closed at the time of admission but me and my father went to a sir i think he used to manage the fees portal and scholarship related work we requested him and he told us in 2 to 3 hours portal will repopen so submit the fees and then submit the document to yiur respective department so you can get enrolled

Faculty

3

As i said earlier the teachers were good in what they were doing and if a student is interested the teachers will help and they were easily approachable but they did not made any efforts from their side to get engaged more with students . In those three years there were 4 teachers who taught us few changed too but over all per semesters there 4 teachers. I was pursuing bcom hons. And we had 3 sections of 60 students each and the ratio in each class was almost 6:4 i know approx ratio because many times we gathered for fest combined classes and other volunteering work The teachers were overall good deepak sir was there i only liked him he was a but engaging if he found that the student is serious for his or her studies but head of the commerce department and few other faculty memebers of the commerce department who handled other work were not nice and also rude i don't recall the name of the member but i asked once for exam schedule once for my admit card and once for my marksheet and he was rude .. maximum time he was with other students too We had 2 unit test before the semseter examination and every 6 months we had the semester exams Teacher's did not fail any one mostly they try their best to pass the students i dont remember any one from our batch gave back paper Only those who did not appeared for the examination

Night Life

3

As i was living outside college and did not took hostel I can't tell much by friend named shivang was their and i stayed their for 2 days the food was good but not prepared with cleanliness as i saw the kitchen the hostels were big but old I did not know our College had many hostels for girls and boys and everyone was allowed to roam in the campus but no canteens were opened so generally their were not much people who roam their at night and swiggy zomato were also their not officially allowed but yeah manageable it was in the night

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Com course curriculum in my college is quite relevant and well structured. It covers core commerce subjects like accounting, business studies, and economics, which helped me choose this course. The syllabus mainly focuses on building strong theoretical fundamentals, which is useful for students planning higher studies such as M.Com, MBA, or professional courses like CA. The curriculum prepares students reasonably well for academic purposes, but there is still scope for improvement in terms of real-world exposure. More practical learning, case studies, presentations, and industry interaction would make the course more skill-oriented and career-focused. The college follows the semester system with internal and external examinations conducted regularly. The exams are of moderate difficulty level. Students who attend classes regularly, complete assignments, and study consistently can pass and score good marks.
