Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very well maded. But in reality it doesn't matters. It is somewhat different from other junior intermediate colleges. It may leads to lack of getting opportunities for the competitive exams.
Placement Experience
Generally The students of BTech final year are eligible for placements There are not that much opportunities and placements are offered by our campus. I think The highest package of my college is around 50 LPA that to in off campus itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
Hello buddies below are the fee structure of our college RGUKT Srikakulam. You have to pay the tution fee of 45,000 rupees per year in this course. In RGUKT you have 6 years integrated course which includes 2 years of Intermediate and 4 years of Bachelor of Technology(BTech). We call the intermediate as Pre University Course(PUC). Here we can learn the same things which we can learn at junior intermediate colleges. I would like to share the pro's and cons of joining college as Below: Pro's: Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Srikakulam one of the four universities of RGUKT across Andhrapradesh. It's main motto is to encourage the education in rural areas. It's establishment is to find and encourage the young talent in rural areas and to give the best opportunity to fly in this technology World. Due to that our college provides the scholarship and full fee reimbursement. That means it you are from the Below poverty level you are not going to pay any tution fee. Which is the best opportunity for the students who are willing to pursue the Bachelor degree in Technology field. Even though they are poor. And the college provides free hostels and food. You have to pay 20000 per year. That too if government was not able to provide you the scholarship. At the worst case your under graduation will be completed with around one lakh rupees after your 10th class. Which is very very best opportunity for the people who can't effort much for their education. Con's Here are some con's of our college: You have to take care of your academics by yourself only. Here the interaction between the faculty and the students is very poor and hence it may leads to lack of guidance. You may get inconvenience with the hostels and food here. I am not going to say that the accommodation is too bad, but it's just ok. If you are able to adjust for any condition or if you are much confident that you can face any situation you can join us.
Campus Life
There are some technical festivals can happen in our college like TechFest, Tech Arena. We had a library of basic level, where we can get decent availablity of books. Don't expect much about sports. There is a student community called Student Gymkhana Centre
Hostel Facilities
We have a decent hostel rooms. You don't want to pay any fees for the hostel rooms. And the hostels are also decent and clean. You have no other option of your residence except the college hostels. Meal quality is just ok.
Admission
I chose this college over any other colleges due the below reasons: There is a lot of craze in the public about this college. Students felt the it's a boon to get an admission in this college. The admission process is based on the marks you get in your 10th class.
Faculty
It is a government aided college and hence the ratio of boys to girls is 1:2 and there is a faculty to students ratio is around 1: 60. The main issue with the the faculty is less interaction. It provides a barrier between students and faculty.
Night Life
There is no gym facility in the college. Don't expect late night activities in the college. Don't expect much about the campus life you may get upset when you have much expectations on the college and campus life
