Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen my specific course (Bcom) because it is more of a comfortable course for me and it's easy for me to understand the course more easily and effectively. Although the curriculum is strong in commerce subject AI, Data analysis, Fintech. These types of emerging technology could also be enhanced. The frequency and timing of the exams are very friendly to students because they get a longer period of time to complete their syllabus and the difficulty level is pretty good as it comes under Calcutta University.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Bhawanipur Education Society College in Kolkata offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The annual fees of the undergraduate courses like Bcom/Ba/BCs(Hons) range from 40000/- to 60000. BESC provides merit-based scholarships to academically outstanding students with need based financial assistance. It is common to increase annually fees every year 5%-10% to keep pace with inflation.
Campus Life
Campus life at BESC is very friendly and has inclusive and diverse communities. BESC offers students with multiple clubs and societies that alling with personal interests and passion. Cultural Club Sports Club Finance and commerce Club And many more
Admission
The reasons for choosing BESC over other colleges is because of the academic reputation they have, proximity of the location Compared to other colleges BESC is more friendly because of their faculty members. It has one of the best infrastructures compared to any other colleges in our city. Many reasons not to make it another college. They mainly are High cutoffs, Late applications and Limited seats. Faculty
The faculty members of the BESC are very experienced in all the fields, they are very supportive and have a very learning environment within them and for sure the faculty members of the college are very friendly to the students. They are also very approachable with any kind of problem. For me personally, my most liked faculty member is a Commerce teacher. He is very friendly and approachable. Talking about the course structure, there are 2 types of courses available 1.Undergraduate (Bcom/BA/BSc) 2. Postgraduate(MA/Mcom/MSc)
Night Life
The BESC is located in South Kolkata which is know for its lively food and cafe culture. Many students hangout their which stay open late night. BESC offers three types of timing Morning,Day and evening. Their are many famous spots around the college Like Nick Nac, Forum mall, Tyre patty. Many other pubs and bars. Kolkata is safer relative to other cities in India but students must practice safety while heading at night outs.
