Remarks
I have mostly seen the college to be very good compared to some other ones in the city. The environment for studying and self-development that you get is amazing. Every facility including free access to library, sports complex is provided so it's a good deal be here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure is very well designed to check the memory and thinking ability of the candidates. The course is also very interesting to study. Your creativity and smartness are reflected in the regular assessments.
Placement Experience
The placements and opportunities are very good (from my point of view) as there are many students who get jobs offered from foreign companies and Indian companies too. The students who opt to be teacher, further get opportunities in the Jamia schools themselves where they are hired as learner teachers. The internships are offered mostly in postgraduate programs and not in undergraduate degree.
College Events
There are many events and functions that are organised by the university taking in mind the dates of students' exams. Every department has its own fest and cultural event. My celebrity guests and other reputed people are also invited.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very much feasible. It is very much pocket friendly. The university is partially funded by the government because of which the fee is highly subsidised. For B.Tech course you just have to pay ~20,000 INR yearly.
Fees and Financial Aid
As such there is no any scholarship offered by the university. But for those who are preparing for the civil services examination or some other competitive exams get admission on an entrance basis for free coaching and hostel facilities.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities being conducted in the university and inter-college , inter-department and inter-hostel competitions are also held to keep the students motivated. There is a big stadium known as MAK Pataudi Sports complex. Students have a free access to it for sports.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't opted for hostel but instead I live in a rented room near the college. But several times I have been to the hostel and found its infrastructure to be awesome. It offers wheelchair entrance and compatible passages too. The architecture is amazing.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni and the senior students are very helpful and cooperative. They help you whenever you are in a trouble with your studies and if there is some financial issue ongoing with you. The faculty provides a lot of relaxation to the students.
Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified with great experiences. They know almost everything related to their course. They are student friendly too. They acknowledge all the aspects related to the subject and modulate it in such a way that the student gets to study all the things easily.
