Course Curriculum Overview
I want to become a criminal lawyer so I choosed ba . And to make my basics stronger and have more vast knowledge I choosed the combination of history with political science. But the teachers should also focus on the ones with English medium too as majority is of Hindi medium.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees of ba history 1st year is about 1800 which will include all other funds and fees . The fees will be taken at the start of the year . The fees structure fir other courses is also same as provided by the HPU Shimla. Also you can apply for scholarship based on your merit or quota.
Campus Life
Every festival is celebrated at the college by the students body. Library is a bit small as compared to the strength of the college. Classroom has technological provisions . Every type of sports is offered at the campus. And the college has members of both ABVP and NSUI.
Admission
I applied for sanjauli government college at Shimla too and I was selected there too but I choosed Dharamshala government Degree College as it had more ratings and everyone suggested so. There is no particular exams for admission. You will get seat based on your merit.
Faculty
Faculty strength at the college is acceptable as compared to the ratio of the students. Every teacher at history department is quite coorporative but sometimes a bit too strict. The exams is annually but there will be house test.
Interview Experience
There were no particular exam's fir the entrance the college provides admission and seats based on merit. There is no need of any other tests for the UG courses . Only for Professional courses there may or may not be exams based on admission seats
Night Life
There is everything around the college that a student might need on daily basis. Government gyms, library and a lot of cafeterias are there around the college. The college has government hostels but the students can even stay at pg. A lot of places to discover around the college and the locality is surely safe as there is a police station just above the college.
