SXC Kolkata is Queering other colleges of Kolkata!!

Academics here means building a core as students get enough chances and more than that, it's the root cause that is solved. Academics here means queering the pitch and get all the required knowledge as our course has almost all the bases covered.

KPMG and EY hires intenrs with a stipend of 10-20k a month. Even some students were offered a four months internships by them. They also keep the things in mind and our working hours are given post the college hours.

KPMG, E&Y and the big four that we call are the ones who get at SXC Campus. For B.Com (Hons) highest package so far was when E&Y broke the bank at 28 Lpa for one of the students in 2023. Almost 75% students are placed here and considering the demand and supply, this is a great ratio.

SXC Autonomous Kolkata is not just the best college in Bengal but at India level too ot ranks as high as SRCC or the Hindu College. The fees also is quite less as SXC Kolkata just charges 74000 a year for B.Com (Hons). We have 30+ scholarship program and the one which is specially designed for our program is Shri Harsh Chandra Baldwa Memorial Award which is awarded to every topper of B.Com students every year. The student get straightaway 50% scholarship through this program.

The campus of SXC is built with a plan and the plan is to leave quite a few wide open spaces. Kolkata and football are mandatory things and therefore we have a huge football ground. Apart from that too we have a lot of sports facilities and one of th best canteens as it serves breads, pastries and ofcourse our favourite Macher Jhol as well. Xavotsav our annual fest is a breakout event as even media houses and come and take the footage to show in the news.

I scored 94% in my 12th and cut off of SC was 93, so I made it on the final list. If I have failed to get admission here only then I would have tried for other colleges but because I didn't, i took admission here as this was my first and indeed the last choice.

I am still thinking that which quality defines our faculties the best and yes I got the answer and it is their supportive nature. The faculties here go big wide open and that is how they teach us. B.Com is indeed a wide open course as ever since NEP has been brought, the course all of a sudden is now a four years course which was earlier just a three years course.

Three of iconic places of Kolkata like the St, Cathedral Church, the Victoria Memorial and the Indian Museum are at a walking distance from our college. For food we have the Bikers Cafe and for coffee we have two great outlets, one is the Indian Coffee House and the other one is Artsy Coffee and Culture.
